  • that's probably 10 minutes of train going threw in about 1 min!!!!!

  • Yea, I agree, That bad boy is haulin' ass. He had to have a clear signal for many many miles.

  • Canadian Pacific should look into getting the tgv LOL!

  • It's super fast and super long omg

  • The driver is speeding...

  • That's the fastest

  • Run, Forest, Run!

  • I threw because you don't leave the camera still

  • hes probaly going 800 - 900 miles an hour

  • @brandxdog7 - Pretty close to that

  • I dont think I've ever seen a freight train move that damn fast.

  • We live next to the cp main line in southern saskatchewan and trains about 20 a day on average speed through at anywhere from 60-100km/h awesome too see that raw power!

  • Try moving that much freight at that speed with trucks... ".the lonely gallon", freight rail works.org and aar.org

  • now thats fast frieght

  • damn he's flying!

  • DAMN! that thing was screamin' through there!

  • word of advice, dont move the camera around too much. Takes away from the video.

  • I could tell you how fast this is going if I knew exactly how long each car is.

  • Holy F***K. That's fast

  • I would like to see that train do an emergency brake.

  • keep camera stil would of been much better

  • very nostalgic to see that, looks exactly as it was in 1954 when the NYC crossed the CPR at grade.

  • @papoo canada - You seem to be very interested into the NYC through here! Well, I don't blame you! I have a DVD Station Master of REAL footage of CP and NYC steam locomotives crossing right here in Finch! And I found a website to see all of the train stations along the old line!

  • dude imagine a car being on the track that would be epic crash

  • WOW!!! Awesome catch there dude. That was one of the fastest intermodels I've ever seen.

    Those SD40-2's were really hauling.

  • hes flippin flyin!!

  • SaclucnhGsus - No, I didn't speed up the video. Look at other videos in Finch. The relay that runs the lights is still the same. And look how slow the gates go down!! If I sped it up, the gates would go VERY slow in real time.

  • I do not know who in my house posted this under my ID. I do not flame up other peoples vids with any negative comments. If I thought it was sped up (I did not even watch it yet) I just would not say anything. Please delete or atleast disregard.

  • @moon47mars I meant 'formula' - not 'fromula'. (typo!)

  • Holy CRAP! lol i was not expecting it to be that fast! That was awesome....I'm no expert but I'd say that was easily 75-80 MPH...

  • @NismoFinder who said America didn't have bullet trains?

  • Comment removed

  • Super Fast! Thanks for the video mate:)

  • AWESOME <3 IT

  • i love this video. oh btw, u made a typo because its spelled 'extremely' not 'extreamly.' again, i love ur video :)

  • Cool.

  • oh and i absolutely love this video this and the cefx are my two favorite freight train videos ive never seen any train videos faster than those before!

  • i doubt that person is the real engineer first of all 78 miles per hour is 125 kilometers per hour not 115 kilometers per hour and second of all this guy commented on a cn video saying that he was the engineer of that train and both this video and that other video were taken around the same time so he couldn't possibly be the engineer of two companies in such a short time span like that, especially in this economy.

  • or 78 mph

  • i was the engineer on that train and my train was pushing 115kms

  • Wow! Great video! Do trains always come by there that fast? Is the speed limit really high or something? And by the way, I subscribed to you after I watched this video because I love the location that you film at, so make sure that you keep putting up great videos like these man!

  • It is a great train. The speed is because of the EMD pulling the train. The EMD had to pull the entire train including that GE. Peanits for an EMD.

  • Ummm....what?

  • Wills what you talking about? BTW, who ever made this video should purchase a tripod. I get seasick watching it.

  • holy crap, that train is flying! Nice catch witht eh SD40, I dont see many of them anymore. and thanks for subscribing! :D

  • Your welcome. I got a video with a CP train in the same place as this video, but it had 4 locos and they were all SD40-2, GP38-2, SD40-2F and SD40-2. It was a long stack train. I also got 3 CEFX trains mixed with CP's on these tracks! And it you saw my video 'CRAZY FAST Eastbound CP & SOO train in finch. That was really rare! Maby you'll catch one. It feels good. Althoe, my SOO train video turned out with noises in the background. 'Hu.' TTYL

  • this train is going 60 mph not 78 that dude is wrong thats breaking out speed limit of 60 mph

  • @moon47mars Here is how to calculate train speed: Whistle posts are exactly 1/4 mile from grade crossings. In the video he began sounding his whistle @ 0.07 and hit the crossing @ 0:23. He travelled that 1/4 mile distance in approx. 16 seconds. Therefore, he is travelling approx. 55-60mph. By the way, track speed for 'Expedited' trains (such as this one) on the CPR is 60mph. (A little hint: you can use the same fromula to calculate train length.)

  • @quadking100 must have been Johnny Walker driving..
