I was hoping the Blackhawks would lose against the Flyers two years ago just so someone could coin the phrase of "The Hossa Hat Trick." Lose the cup three years straight which would be achieved by jumping from team to team instead of building up a team's chemistry like true hockey players often (should) do.

Hossa's a good guy. Anyone who's seen even 1 interview with him knows it. He tried his best for the teams he played for. But the people who make these stupid videos or call him a traitor and a no-show playoff performer are either rude, bitter, or both. Remember gang, hard work and dedication goes a long way in this world. I think his story highlights this fact. He could have stuck it out with the Pens and helped build the team the next year from day one but chose to jump ship again to Detroit, and now Chicago. Time will tell if he can get the elusive cup.

The funny thing is at the beginning of the season I picked Pittsburgh over Chicago in the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals. Can you freaking imagine that? As a Pittsburgh fan living in the DC area the best thing that could possibly happen is for the Penguins to beat the Capitals in the Eastern Conference Finals and go on to beat Hossa (again!) and the Blackhawks for the Cup. Going to the Finals three straight years is pretty damn difficult but the Pens are good enough to do it...

Plus we're only going to play him on average about once a year.
