Also, Vergil (Dante's twin brother) is still himself in DMC3. In DMC1, Vergil has already been turned into Nelo Angelo by Mundus.

In DMC3 (The twins are both approx 19), Dante talked about how it was nearly a year since both himself and Vergil last met. So the earliest meeting that they had since Vergil's disappearance as a child, that we currently know of, was approx 1 year before DMC3.

It's hard to tell weather or not DmC is even canon to the other 4 games as the developer has called it a rebirth/reboot. However, when they say "reboot" in interviews, it doesn't sound like a traditional series reboot. We just have to wait for a story trailer of DmC to know for sure :P
This game is epic!! Dante and Trish are badass :) Dante is so funny( naked poster lol) and Trish she is badass, so if you hate her shut up and don't watch it's simple as that. And if your bashing the game then shut up to, becuase this is a awesome game!! the plot and game play are awesome. So if you don't like it then quit complaining becuase graphics don't make a game. yeah, except in dmc 4 where he sounds like a kid when he fights. dmc 1 and 2 is where he sounds like "beard rugged man".
