  • Now make it electric.

  • Does the Coocoo bird ever get stuck in the fender on the hour???

  • @Shortstory123 Maybe you can only ride for fifty nine minutes at a time?

  • Steampunk-orgasm!

  • definately would want some poly acrylic outside the wheel for protection

  • Just wait until the squirrel running across the road gets caught up in that !

  • a flat wouldn't be hard the wheel and tire are seperate parts. Very interesting design but being open like that just allows dirt and crap to get stuck in more gears. More parts to get damaged, more teeth to get bent and replacing one means replacing nearly all of them. Definately not fun. Probably why we saw 3d footag einstead of an actual wheel. But the design reminds me of that guy that allegedy built a castle by himself with a tool that represented this one.... Castle Coral or something

  • Is this off a Swiss motorcycle?

  • cool idea, might need to be greased every so often though

  • I bet that wheel creates huge momentum energy. If I were a physicist, I am sure I would be able to articulate what I mean. This design probably requires more powerful brakes and probably creates resistance to the horsepower. I could be wrong, though. Just my intuition.

  • @evolnieveilebi You are correct. It has a very large moment of inertia.

  • That's the answer for dogs that chase tires.

  • so tacky

  • Indian Larry would approve. That thing really makes you go "Whoa, now THAT'S a machine

  • i think CGI, but it might be the OCC Rolex edition bike.

  • You could probably go back in time if you hit 88 mph.

  • is this real or in 3D?

  • Have you heard of the detrimental effect of excessive unsprung weight?

  • Ummmm...I'd hate to see what happens at 150 mph

  • he stoled that from father times rolex!!

  • When you improve something, you usually make it simpler...not more complex

  • they are going to use the same technology for motocross.....lol..

  • i could see that exploding going fast

  • If you think this is the coolest motorcycle wheel ever, then maybe you should stick your dick in there and see if you dont change your mind!

  • wow and brake dust doesnt affect them?

  • this has teh potential for being in saw 8 lol

  • Nice finger cutter :D

  • you guys realize these are 3d models right?

  • @meleeman09 yeap

  • The website doesn't exist, where do I buy these at?

  • Stick your finger in ANY wheel while riding & you'll realize the exact same thing, your stoopid.

  • @PeterFileMoeLester you'll not cut your finger in a hubless wheel

  • you mean most dangerous wheel ever? holy shit, stick your finger in there while you're riding along LOL

  • Man a small rock would really fuck your day up though!!!

  • mx ur such a idiot, that wheel looks like some kinda swiss watch,, even though u mite know ur shit, u have a terrible attitude, i think u need a beating

  • An exercise in futility! Cool though!

  • i see 1, 2,3,4... 10 points of possible failure!

  • you fucking dickhead anikinippon!! more moving parts equals more friction equals more power loss. not to mention the effect of these gears failing after wear and jamming causing the wheel to stop spinning at speed, fucking catastrophe!! this is nothing more than art and if not for art sake its a complete waste of time.

  • That kind of mechanical efficiency, I would think, would cut back on gas costs alot

  • @anikinippon What is it about this wheel that you believe makes it more mechanically efficient?

  • Let alone the amount of noise and vibration it will generate!

And with all that weight in your frontwheel your bike will only go in a straight line.

What if one of those parts should fail... it looks fragile?

    But it's cool looking!

  • I wanna see that thing go full speed now.

  • lol what a stupid fake

  • more moving parts more moving problems BUT pretty cool setup though

  • self winding Flux Capacitor?

  • who made the wheel , ROLEX ?????

  • looks finger friendly

  • Really? What the hell for.

  • Too much friction will cause it to be inefficient.

  • @SpeedOfDark186Kmps thats actually fairly similar to how the tranny of an automatic car works

  • @l0st4lif3

Yeah, my point still stands. More moving parts equals less efficiency. It is cool looking though, I will give it that.

  • @SpeedOfDark186Kmps not neccesarily, think about a cars transmission, faster cars will generally have up to six gears while slower cars will have around 4 or 5, there are more gears and pieces on the six speed transmission and it can still go faster

  • @l0st4lif3

Simply put, yes necessarily. Throwing gears in something doesn't make it faster nor more efficient. In the case of a transmission, gears are used so that the engine can perform within its optimal power band. It requires more energy to get a car rolling, then what is needed to keep it rolling. Because of the car's higher momentum, a higher gear can be used and the engine keeps operating in it's optimum power range. You never want to use more moving parts than needed.

  • @SpeedOfDark186Kmps of course, and im not saying that all that is what this wheel does necessarily, im just saying its plausible

  • Looks like a giant gyroscope, I wonder if it's difficult to steer.

  • whos gonna wanna clean that?!

  • can it go at hi speed

  • A bito of dust, and its wasted.

  • How would you clean off the road kill?

  • cool but impractical, too much friction

  • What if.. someone throws a broom at your wheels.

  • if you ride backwards do you go back in time?

  • could be covered to be safe but it wouzld have a handling that sucks

  • This would be illegal for use, and would probably reduce acceleration and fuel consumption considerably. Plus, they would wear horrendously

  • gay

  • imagine hand get there while spinning

  • Comment removed

  • Note to self, gravel road = broken rim and shattered skull.

  • best spinner eva

  • broken hub, aaaaaah!

  • Just more parts to maintain and break!

  • Come on people.. it's an art project. Are you all really that simple minded? Of course it's not practicle, or even safe to be near at highway speeds, but anybody who can't see that it is beautiful in a mechanical fashion has obviously never sat and stared at a wind up clock. Beautiful visible gearboxes are becoming a lost art. I say more power to those guys.

  • stick your finger in there

  • @clos19851 stick your penis in there.

  • its a 578 speed bike

  • How do you inflate, theres no valve

  • I want one. er....two.

  • really! are you serious 1 more thing we will be seeing in rap videos i guess!

  • Really cool but shouldn't be on an actual road-going bike...imagine trying to clean it all

  • yes awesome..... 50 lbs added to the front of my bike.... i was wondering what i was missing,,,,,

  • @greyYwolf you forgot the lead weight to prevent it from entering time travel

  • shits gonna get stuck in there

  • How do they adjust it for Daylight Savings Time?

  • @TheZuchinniman very carefully

  • @TheZuchinniman lol east coast or central lol

  • @TheZuchinniman who ever said it was a clock?

  • @TheZuchinniman Omfg, nice

  • Woooow...

  • thats perfect you guys are dumb if you cant see the huge spoke keeping it solid its not hard to visualize whats going on here

  • theres no way it would work, thers no lube,

unless the rim was incased in a plastic cover that you could fill with gear oil

    haha free idear

  • I can see this ending badly.

  • we need wheels with less resistance.. not an ass load more..

  • i dont wanna change that tire

  • @timtadams2

    fuck you? :D

  • Yea at around 75mph those become ninja throwing stars aaaarrrgghhh!!

  • fuckin nerd wheel!!!!!

  • It's just plantary gears. Nothing new

  • changing a flat would be hell....

  • @dualinburn not reall, just unmount the tire, there is no spokes, so its a solid rim

  • just cover it with some transparent plastic

  • leave it to engineers to take a perfectly good design and eff it all up, just get some spinner hubcaps. at least you can still get home when they break.

  • my nan has this on her mantlepeice, its called a carrageclock, ha ha.

  • So by cool you mean gaudy, heavy, dangerous, and useless right?

  • doesn't work => Moving parts suck => Less moving parts design will last longer => Car companies won't like electric cars because they don't break (very few moving parts)

  • Lots of hating here lol. It looks awesome!

  • um what happens when you reach a highway speed of 65 or less

  • @assassinXXnissassa Fire, those little spokes would create a world of friction heat, and eventually melt/catch fire

  • @Farlot911 So why doesn't my gearbox / drive / dry clutch / hundred other moving parts melt/catch fire? I agree that it will wear rather fast if left dry but you don't need it sopping wet either. Less so than your small sprocket in any case. But I agree that I would not install these things on my bike, but not so much for wear but for general safety and performance. These are cool gizmos, very novel, its good that people create things like this even if they are not my personal taste or desire.

  • thats an epicyclic gear system, takes some amount of engineering to design 1 from scratch... but yeah, 1 stone.... FUCKED!

  • the most gayes wheel ever

  • it must be able to travel through time

  • No practical use. And the repetitive mirroring of the wheel throughout the video made me not want to watch the whole thing.

  • Please, my watch can do that.

  • looks like my armitron watch.

  • Now, That's what we should call the Re-invention of the wheel,

  • need to put a cover on it....dont want rocks flying in it and you have to an unwanted facial :D

  • thats cool looking but a stupid idea

  • even with the faceplanting faults atleast it looks cool :D

  • hahaha put ur arm in their when the wheels movn at 200 mph! hahaahahaha

  • Its almost like having an auto tranny in your front wheel!

  • Loocks nice, but for anny practical purpose this wheel will be unusable.

  • @NortHeed The wheel has a red/orange support, the gears don't even need to be there. They are just for looks, the wheel support is separate.

  • @esopbelac94. I know. It is just a planetary gear system without anny function.

  • that web site sucks... this is a scam video!

  • Stick your finger in there.

  • This is very similar to Toyota's ECVT on Prius.

  • wait nvm i got a betr 1... sum1 get my sum paper and a pen....spirograph 0.o

  • wht time is it?-_-

  • tick tock tick tock tick tock

  • imagine what a rolex one would cost

  • spinners don't have shit on these things

  • i wouldnt wanna see these wheels fail at 75 mph...

  • i don't wan't to be the Cat which go true that "Gearbox" :-)))

  • talk about roling resistance

  • THE NAME SAYS IT ALL!!!!

  • How does that do with lateral forces? I know they are just a fraction compared to those found on a car, but still need to be dealt with.

  • @e2thevan Hey, i started ripping on you hicks months ago, look if you want to get mad at me for saying you're a bunch of half retarded inbreds who look at motorcycle videos on youtube all fucking day go ahead but it doesn't change the fact that the only way you get laid is by brute force.

  • @Luverov hey buddy. im 14. im not whining about getting laid. and whats wrong with motorcycles? i mean really i dont sit here all day.

  • @Luverov ripping on us hicks?

  • lol if you were riding with a weel like this and a fly hot stuck you would prob fly off and get killed by all the flying gears!

  • if the bullies shove a stick in there again they will be sorry

  • If anything got stuck in there you would be fuuuucked

  • God damn, someone shove a stick or broom handle in there already!

  • yeah i'm pretty sure this is computer animated cause the back wouldn't move unless they figured a way for the chain and everything to stsy the same

  • Where's the brake go?

  • Who makes this-TIMEX or ROLEX?

  • @stratman123 damn you beat me to that comment

  • imagine getting a finger caught in that! ouch!

  • some of the worst video quality i have ever seen.

  • clock in the bike

  • this is cool and all..but unless u keep those things well lubed they wont last long at high speeds...not to mention things such as dirt getting inside of it....but then again like most RLY awesome things in life they are meant for display not practicality

  • so how does it brake?

  • you can make an art out of everything :D

  • Very cool, but dangerous. I didn't use it on my Motorcycle.

  • THE GEARS FREESPIN!! so SCREW ALL YOU DOUBTERS!!! xD It's safe, it doesn't look pretty when they get stuck, but it always works!!!!:D seriously 100% Safe!

  • @foxgods77 yea the gears arent attched to anything but still creats a little more drag ya know what i mean

  • hmmm what happens if some gravle gets kicked up , maybe some stones get caught in them gears and SCRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEETCH. realy mess up the rest of the day.

  • imagine this wheel goin 6mph shit be flyin everware

  • @xKiNgSx88x Be great on a harley then.

  • @xKiNgSx88x

    hahaha!! ye!

  • @xKiNgSx88x no they would be fine, he wouldn't sell them otherwise. The gears in your car are like this and move 100 times faster.

  • @xKiNgSx88x how so ? its just a planetary gear set , exact same thing inside your automatic transmission

  • What happens if you stick a finger in there.

  • @toghax09 what finger? or Instant Finger-B-Gone or Finger flavored paste.

  • awesome

  • With so many moving parts, this would potentially break down regularly

  • That is by far the coolest clock i have ever seen but wheres the little hand???

  • can you go more than 2 mph ??

  • Grass mulcher? This is just plain silly.

  • that rim rocks out with its cock out yo!!

  • Oh that is just like the watch I got in 5th grade. Awhat is the bog deal folks0 besides looking neat

  • i thought it was a turtle in the thumbnail

  • How strong is it? Can it support the weight of the bike?

  • stick your finger inside!

  • Hardly innovative. They're copying a radial engine design. But no real description on what the benefit it would be, except to sell it to someone who wants their bicycle stolen.

  • haha thats bug killer or maybe squirrel too

  • i'd like to c those thing doing 90mph

  • thousands of little spokes that just wait for a little stone and seize the weel in instant - hello ground!

  • @sukz28 im sure theres some type of safety mechanism in place that will allow it to keep going anyway, sorta like those stupid spinner rims but then again it wouldnt matter cause these are show wheels

  • @sukz28incase it would solve prob
