I don't see too much short track racing like this, but I don't think you need to bumb so hard to move someone. Just my uninformed opinion. Anyway I think she did well at Daytona 2/25/12. She finished. :)
Bumper to bumper, paint on paint, door to door, the way it's been run every since the very first snowball race. Johanna did what everyone else has always done, if you don't get out of my way...I'll move you! Way to drive young lady and kudos to a very nice race. I've watched this race for 3o something years now and this ranks as the most exciting one ever. FANTASTIC that she won.

I been to 5 Derby's before, the last one Tammy jo kirk won and she wrecked everyone on the track without being flagged. And twice she ran the red flag at the end of pit road. So maybe the Derby isn't what it used to be............

@corycaz13 Maybe you can explain why Cassill didn't get the 'Dreaded Black Hanky' for looping Chase Elliot a few laps earlier ? Or any of the other incidents that took place ? Cassill wasn't hacked about it, he was smiling when he showed up in Victory Lane. A good act or true sportsmanship ? I'll go with the latter, thank you!
@corycaz13 Then you're basing your opinion on very limited info. I can't post the other 5 1/2 HOURS of video we shot on you tube (not including the in-car in Cale Gale's car). In the past there have been complaints from some driver's to let them handle the 'disagreements' themselves. Even Landon Cassill said he knew she had better tires. Slo-mo it and you can see him get a touch loose just before they get together. Have a nice day, anyway.
@corycaz13 one grove short track racing. That's what happens. Get off your high horse and stay where your at if you don't like some of the toughest competition in the country. Those were all professional drivers doing what they do, trying to win.
This is a good video but I have to agree with the other people the Announcer is Terrible, I usually go to the race but missed it this year. Thank goodness when your there the cars Drown the Announcer out!
If this announcer was at Old Dominion Speedway, there's a very good chance I would go in to the booth myself, take the microphone from him and announce the race myself.

@ShortTrackNews Yes, that is the track announcer. The person you hear in the background is Bob Dillner from Speed 51 and The Speed Channel doing a live radio/webcast from the track. I would LOVE to do a streaming webcast of our video coverage from there, but we have get sponsorship and that's tough to do in this economy. Thanks for the positive comments, BTW. If I could sell about a thousand of these DVD's...
@AndyMarquisLIVE The only way I could see that happen is to watch the #1 DVD while listening to the replay of their RTR coverage in the archive section at Speed 51. To try to edit that together would be difficult and not very cheap. Not even sure if I could get their permission to do so. Maybe I can tie into their audio next year...Hmm!

The race was fine, the announcer I think is not very good. Not to say I could do any better but I think they need to get someone else.
