You don't have to have the same key harmonica as the tune, just a compatible harmonica. This is in D Minor anyway, so a D harmonica would be no good; you'd need an F harmonica (which is the relative major to D Minor). However, D minor only has 1 note not common to C Major, so just avoid the B (which would be a Bb in D Minor - sucking in hole 3) and you can be in D minor on a C harmonica. I think this is what he's doing. It works when I try it anyway
