I'm really glad they didn't keep Rose as an AI I prefer her being flesh and blood and I think at least for me compliments Raiden. Another thing I don't get is how do people think Rose is annoying.

@Theri4444 it's because she represent the nagging and demanding ways of how women are to their boyfriends. He's trying to do a mission and she can't keep her emotions in line, which makes it harder for him.

seriously, if he told her straight up who he really is and everything about him, I don't think she would take any interest in him. Most likely any women would be scared at least feel awkward trying to find any reason to love a person like that. Imagine if you can fall in love with a woman who killed her kids and she told you up front. Imagine if a guy was a murder and admits to you, would you want to get to know that person and start a relationship? Everything rose said is just not plausible.

XD Besides, Raiden never once had a choice in the matter - he was brought up from a VERY young age as a child soldier, he's spent his whole life taking orders. It even disgusts HIM that he's still able to kill without feeling. Rose obviously understands this - Raiden isn't proud in the LEAST of how he's been praised for his skills in war; he's ashamed of it, to no end. All he wants is to start a new life - if only he was given the choice to.

As much as i'm glad Rose and Jack get back together at the end of MGS4, she still annoys me.

Honestly I think she is not lying to him..Anyway they were together for 2 whole years, and I think she watched over the whole jack's adventure in Big Shell.

The colonel is part of IA, not Rose..BUT when the IA goes crazy there are images of Rose, but are all fake...in order to get Raiden(Jack ) confused.The fact Raiden says Rose in not real it's because she did a pact with the Patriots with the purpose to pull informations off Raiden...

Then the IA fakes any other connections with Rose, she has never been an hostage....that part is staged by the IA.
