I remember the day I heard the news on the radio at work. I was bummed out for weeks!! I don't usually get that way when a celebrity dies, but Phil was one of my favorite comic actors. Just seemed like such a decent, regular guy. And the way he went, too... in his sleep at the hands of his selfish, good-for-nothing coke-whore wife who was damned lucky to have been married to him to begin with & never really deserved what she had. I'm not a huge fan of Kristen Wiig, and I've never compared her to anyone, especially Phil, but she could be, it's still too early to tell.

The only woman I've ever compared to Phil Hartman would be Jan Hooks, she was awesome.

Phil was amazing and I hope he is smiling down on the current SNL, because to me, the show kinda died with him when he left in 1994. If he was still alive, he would've hosted like 10 more times for sure, and I'd enjoy every minute of it.

Life is very unfair when people like his wife take their problems out so viciously. Life is very precious and Phil made us all smile so much and he would have been one of the biggest film stars of our lifetime if he had the chance to do so. Greg Kinear once called Phil "Reneasance Man" I think because of how funny and nice he was to the people around him. I miss Phil Hartman so much and I know he is making God smile along with Chris Farley.

He will always be a LEGEND of SNL and of Comedy, he was perfection, and I loved when Greg Kinnear called him a Renaissance Man because it was so true. The man did EVERYTHING! Yeah I love Kristen. She has the similiar dead-pen delivery that Phil Hartman had on SNL. I love her sketch with Jason Sadkiss "Two A-Holes" You know the annoying married couple that calls each other babe all the time. It's soo funny. And the sketch where she would upstage everyone with lies. I'm not sure of her name but that sketch is funny. Phil Hartman would be doing that if he were still on the show. Phil played the perfert jerk, the best straight man ever and the best pompous ass you'd ever seen (See NewsRadio, LOL). I loved his eyebrow arch too, he was so great at being subtle, and had the most incredible voice. He is and was THE GREATEST! He was probably the best-looking comedian on SNL ever too. Very handsome and cute. Great actor too.
