Pretty rad strat! Im guessing it would be heaaps easy with the majority of healers being shamans just spamming chain heal. Back in my raiding days for fights where everyones grouped together like this it was a given that shamans would have to fight over loot. nice one though

Better to not take the chance though and spread out, saves the healers mana and that adds up for healing on the people that should need it.

It is grid, just a pretty heavily tweaked config. A few of the options I use is turning on inverse health color and resizing the healthbars. It's a pain in the ass to find all the stuff, I took a while getting it set up so I liked it.

Healing wise I use: Grid, Clique, GridStatusRaidDebuff, GridSatatusHealingReduced, and I manage pally buffs with Pally Power or zomgbuffs. Then I use some standard class timers, quartz, etc.

Our clothies can take about 2 of those hits. Shaman healings are pretty key. Its a very healing heavy fight for everyone. Most everyone is on raid healing while we have a few healers just on the main tank. Btw, our 2 "lucky" hunters usually hate this strat.

try using an affliction warlock for it. he can continue to dps while providing the tasty target.

Damnit I think i just accidentally deleted your first comment sorry. Yeah the damage is bad but it's not that bad, I think it's in the neighborhood of 6k per raid member per pound.

You can seperate the combat and chat logs with the base UI, you just have to unlock them and drag I think. But I'm using the Chatter UI mod for my chat windows and Bartender for my hotkeys.

How did you take pots during the fight? Do you use hotkey or did you macro it in grid/clique? If macroed, I would like to know what the macro looks like.

Ow and the same for Divine Favor and Divine Illumination.

Nope, just healed through it. It's doable because the healers don't need to run around dodging orbs and he tends to die faster this way. :)
