@oldschoolbimmers I was not blocking the lane for anyone but yes after I have finsihed acceleration to the speedlimiter (280 km/h indicated and 262 km/h GPS speed) I mived over to the right lane.

I have been overtakane maybe five times in my life on Autobahn ;)

@JoeyandLindsay German drivers seem to be more disciplined when it comes to driving in the left lane and just driving in general. Every video I watch, the person moves over to the right after using the passing plane, keeping it open for people to use it, unlike here where every day I drive, I deal with people who sit in the left lane and travel under the speed limit.

@chrisman324 Yes, I understand that "most" German drivers will be more disciplined. However, all it takes is someone having a bad day to swerve into your lane. Common sense will/should tell anyone this. I am on the roads everyday, for 6 hours a day. I have people cutting me off even if I'm in the left lane passing. American's are actually very good drivers in comparison to other Countries, but, we all need to remember..all it takes is that one person who's having a bad day to ruin your day.

I'm not saying I want to go "balls to the walls" at all times when I'm driving on the autobahn, but what I'm trying to get at is that it would be nice to see a higher grade of driving abilities in the states. I'm not quite as lucky as you when it comes to bad drivers; I see them during every commute.

But I couldn't agree more. Risk is everywhere and can't be always be evaded.
