I gave a negative comment on one of her other videos, but I take it back. This is excellent playing, especially for one so young. I think she improved alot between the last one and this one. She is going to have a great career!

I must say, that after viewing this I watched other "live video" segments and she is a player. Nevertheless, a single still photo should not be used because of the lack of veracity it projects, it and others like it certainly left a sour taste in my mouth.

I noticed in the live videos that she has a unique way of playing her instrument - watch and you will see she plays it off center instead of full on to the center of her lips. I wonder who was her teacher?!

@abcinbc It's a embouchure flaw and it's not that unusual. In her case, the embouchure is obviously working quite well, so her teacher has done a good job by not trying to force her to look good when she sounds fine.

@mehaly104 its god given talent and alllloooottt of work. I have been playing trumpet for five years now and i could pull this piece with alot of practice put nomatter how hard i try i will NEVER make a sound that smooth! Im a brassy sounding kinda guy ;)

Very nice. She's got a beautiful, velvety sound. At the figure at around 51 secs even though she doesn't quite get all the notes as written I like the way it comes off - she "misses" in a musically pleasing way.

Kudos to her accompanist too.

She's got a sort of funky embouchure but can't argue with the results.
