@g4macdad they're saying that no one can truly lead unless they submit to christ. as humans, we're lost in our inherent evil and sin, and jesus' dying on the cross is the only way to save us from the penalty of sin (which is death). by following christ, we are following the only example of perfect authority who leads us in the path of life. by going our own way, by following our own direction, by trying to lead without guidance from christ, then we are only leading ourselves into destruction.

I have owned MANY CD's from 116 Clique. I love their message, BUT I recently discovered that they follow John McArthur and he is 100% hateful and disobedient of the Universal Catholic Church.

Even though I am not Catholic myself, I DO understand the implications of such deep separations of the body of Christ. I read the Gospels regularly and know that this is flagrant disobedience to Jesus Christ's teachings.

I am not looking for controversy, but understanding among our faith.

The catholic church has got to be the most boring place. and 98 percent of the people that go there never read there bible. they simple think they can just go to church on Sundays and go on with there normal life. and If you truly study the catholic church it really has a pretty dirty history behind it. Authority is also our elders, parents, teachers/people in authoritative positions at schools and other establishments. Thats how it works in society. And ultimately we bow down to THEE authority-God. I am glad to hear your response. I LOVE the message of 116 and hope that what you are saying is true.

I noticed two lines on Tedashii's Black Light that bothered me though. These also make me question what you are saying about JM Bibles.

The lines are "bring it to 'em with no Priest " and "I don't need a Rosary". These are good news for some, but offensive to other believers/brothers in Christ. We need to unite in the body, NOT separate.

Thats 100% pure bible right there. Whether its offensive or not isnt his fault. That's God's Word. All divisions r ultimately nonbiblical:evangelistic, baptist, catholicism, n all other divisions. There is only 1church spoken of in the bible. Jesus' purpose was not 2 offend, n it shouldnt b for us, but some got offended anyway.

@g4macdad catholics were not the original church. The earliest church is recorded in the NT. Paul was the master builder or this. The state religion of catholicism didn't come around for hundreds of years after. In fact there is no record of Peter even being in Rome. If you study Church history you will see the truth. Look outside of the catholic church for your historical accuracy in the matter. I used to be catholic then I got saved. The RCC has no answers and is a dry well.

@g4macdad there are things in a Catholic Church that is done routinely that causes deception in people thinking they must do them or else they're burning in Hell, like making the sign of the cross with one's hands. We can't focus on what denomination is the BEST, we could all be wrong! The issue doesn't start at the outward expression, it's about faith.

Technically the first Church came from both Jews and Gentiles. Early Christians celebrated in Jewish traditions, as Jesus did!

Sometimes that's all we know is the baptist/evangelistic etc type of churches that we grew up in. the bible says forsake not the assembly of ourselves together. so yeah i agree, we gotta go to church somewhere, as long as we're hearing the Word of God but it is important to know that divisions do nothing but that--divide. That's not what God wants i'm sure. Sure there r diffrent duties within the church but nothing to create denominations over ya know?

Catholicism, Baptist, etc. are simply a way for the enemy to give non-believers a weapon to attempt to discredit Jesus church. The rules/guidelines are simple: confess, repent, and be baptized, but the enemy tries to cloud this just as he did in the Garden with Adam and Eve. God has the only authority!

@g4macdad because it's NO the rosary that gives salvation, it's not Mary who forgives us our sins. Mary did give birth to Jesus, but God used her body to give Jesus an Earthly birth. SHe may have been given that responsibility, but the focus is on Jesus' incarnation, not anything special that Mary did. It always points to Jesus. @g4macdad don't support Obama 100%, support Obama as he supports things that glorify God. God deserves our 100% support. Obama (and ANYTHING president) makes mistakes, but we have to be careful in that many do things that are totally against the will of God whether it be not taking care of the poor, not extending support to the poor, abortion, homosexual marriage, etc.

In all things we must make sure what we do lines up with God's will.

Ultimate authority is God. it's clear through their music that this is the message. they're not telling you to support what the government supports 100%, like gay marriage, etc.
