When I moved to San Francisco 10 years ago I was a little puzzled by the "bus only" lanes because so many cars were regularly using them as just an extra lane.
BTW: When I found this series, I must have spent a couple hours going through the archives. I guess I was counting on a good dose of schadenfreude, but I came across quite a few local legal tidbits I did not know about.
