However, if you are looking for a cheap gaming fix for the DS/DSi/DSL there is a solution called a flashcart. It's an adapter that uses software to run downloadable games - all you need is a computer and microSD card. Check out gbatemp for reviews.

No pokemon game is inherently bad. It is just the small differences that are good. I have a hankering for the new HeartGold, and SoulSilver - which are remakes of the greatest Gold/Silver versions!

Sorry, I don't feel comfortable with telling people my name on the great wide Internets.

I like Platinum because of multiplayer - the underground bits are multiplayer, and the GTS is a bit better, plus the graphics are kind of improved. However, I think if you need a basic Pokemon game - you'd be better off picking up a copy of D/P. (Cheaper, and easier to find.)

I would say Ruby/Sapphire. I don't like Emerald, but there's more stuff to do in Emerald - I actually kept my copy of Emerald, which is weird.

Good luck finding R/S - it's pretty rare these days.

Cool, I've got a question though. Is the online ruined? Since there are players with action replays, which means that everyone is gonna have ultimate legendary uber pokemons.

Legendaries, yes. Ubers, not so much. People tend to play with all legendaries - I fought and won against a player who had uploaded all 3 legendary dogs as a team.

Good tactics and good stuff always wins.

What's an Acekard 2i?

The Acekard 2i is a flashcart/flashcard for reading copies of games. (eg. ROM's). It is basically an adapter which allows your DS to read any microSD card.

It's not bad - you can use it to play music and videos, read text files, and a lot more than just "play games".

The Acekard 2i was one of the first flashcarts that was developed to work with the new DSi. (I don't have a DSi, but I bought because the firmware will remain current.)

Want my opinion? Buy Platinum. It has abit more functions, but if you have to choose between Diamond and Pearl; Yes, the game is worth it and you should choose based on the Legends or the pokémons that you can encounter.
