I agree but the sad thing is that buel green algae like the klamath that you find in the health shop stores are quite expensive and are frozen and dehydrated so they loose a lot of the nutritional power.
I don't eat breafast myself and i have a theory why I don't. First off I don't feel hungry in the morning - doesn't matter if i've eaten the night before or not. Secondly I think in the natural world animals wouldn't wake up and HAVE food laying around, they'd have to go searching for it. Thirdly in the morning your body is normally flushing out toxins so eating would stop that and your energy would be used up digesting the food instead.
He mentions eating less is better. There was a study recently with animals, feast and famine. Feed an animal a feast, and then keep food away from the animal for a day, and do it over and over again. They said it prevented cancer in animals... I hear it takes 12 hours for a person to digest their food, sooo some people only eat two meals a day. Dr Clement says he hasn't eaten breakfast for over 30 years...
@doyle430 Did I say "wild animals"? Sorry for the misunderstanding. They did the test on dogs and cats. They say that the animals in the wild don't always eat every day, and the not eating everyday is what helps prevent the cancer. I've noticed with cats when they are sick, they will hide and not eat for a day or so, and then get better.
yes I have heard this.. I think that's whats good about Brian Clements diet. Its based on really reducing calories compared to normal diets.. and the food has a higher nutrition content.. hence why people with terrible diseases tend to get better on this diet :)
Ive tried juicing sprouts.. it doesn't work :/
