thailand and malaysia(where i live)are big time fishing destinations for snakeheads which are cannibalistic. Snakeheads keep their own population under control.The giant snakeheads caught here are (no offence) small.they can grow much larger, up to 15-20kgs.

The Toman or Giant Snakehead is eaten in Singapore for healing purposes after operations. Thats what my grandma buys their meat for anyway. Makes nice soup. Those caught in the video are small compared to what I have seen in the market. They smell delicious raw too! :)

I think that place is overfished... They grow a lot bigger than the ones seen here. A whole lot bigger. Great fishing nonetheless and happy to see you guys releasing them back to the wild. That's very special frog-lure. I think it is the best lure for giant snakehead mady in Thailand. We were fishing near Chiang Mai town in Thailand. No he is not Jean Francious - they are absolutely better. Fishing is not in pond but very nice idyllic jungle lake.
