If it was possible for a society to produce babies without convincing women to do it, it would be easy to keep a sustainable "birth"rate. It's a shame that research into artificial wombs is almost nonexistent and plagued by ethics issues. Issues that may be a luxury we can't afford to consider.

S korea has a population of 50 million but is able to field an army of 3.7 million regulars. Germany has a population of around 80 million, but only has 91 000 military personnel. South korea has an even biger demographic decline, 1.4 tfr. Personnel is never the problem.The lack of patriotism and virtue will be europe's undoing.

The naturalist's "sexual revolution" is the direct cause of western infertility. No one has any reason to trust in marriage that produces fruitfulness in the west anymore. The covenant of mutual familial preservation that held individuals in our societies together has been broken.

The only viable solution is mandatory enforced sterilization for all illegal immigrants and their children as well as anyone who converts to Islam. However, that's an insane measure and thus not really an option.

Short of banning contraceprion i do not see how we can reserve the demographic decline. One possible solution might be more migrantion. But in europe there is already trouble assimilating, so i guess thats not feasable. Here we pay people to have kids (3000 USD per child). Still does not work.

European women are not about to be enslaved like African and Asian women just so that some insecure white nationalist can have his own way. In any case, Europe could not support such a massive population boom. Islam hijacks the loyalty mechanisms common in families and tribes and uses them to spread its own cult. Words have multiple meanings and different objects or things can be described with different words. You can't say that Belgium is not a land because it's a country, it matches the definitions of both, it is both. Their losses per capita was definatly higher then what we have now. Th american civil war is also a good example of total war. The south lost about a tenth of its population, they were literally bleed dry.I do not think allied deaths have surpassed 20 000 yet, but we are already considering withdrawal.

This analysis is excellent. When the British Empire was growing it was doing it with second and third sons. The Iron Duke himself was the third of five surviving sons - of course he went into the army, what choice did he have? Today there are very few European soldiers who have brothers.

@MartinJWillett There are many ways to get around this problem of military personnel shortage. Conscription for all able bodied males 2 years. Isreal and S.Korea have done a god job in ths regard. Though a little economic growth has to be sacrificed.

Stability should be the aim. When (if) all nations can stabilize then we could see a coordinated worldwide slow decline. Having a decline while others are growing, especially others who are strident, could be a recipe for serious conflict.

During ww1, Against the slaughter, the french had low birth rate comparaed to the germans. Now france has the highest rate per woman in europe. In east asia it is much worse 1.1 for singapore. 1.05 for s.korea, according to figures released recently.

@MartinJWillett I would disagree with that. French muslims are suprisingly liberal and pro france. In fact most supported the ban on the full face veil. A lot of the french muslims are berbers who are secular. There are also the bakris who fought for the french vs the GIA. Fearing reprisals a lot of them moved to france. There also is this spirit of french republicanism that fosters intergration. Though i admit france is an exception from the rest of europe.
