  • Must we have any CD ?

  • can i put xp on a win7 netbock?

  • @alexkrat92 Yes you can, but you need to install WinXP first on half partition and then once complete, install Win7 on the other half. THE RESULT: when you will boot the computer, a choice will be available to you (WinXP or Win7)

  • @tiptricktv thanks...

  • @3:54 it wont show my C: partition...can you help me?

  • i installed step 1, then @ step 2, it shows the checkpoint of installing windows, and then suddenly an error comes stating : " An error has been encountered that prevents setup from continuing. One of the components that Windows needs to continue setup could not be installed. Untranslatable message, Win32LastError is 14001. " ... and then it would ask you to press OK to view the sepup log file. after that the netbook would again restart on its own, and im @ square one again !! :(( please help !

  • I installed the 1st one perfectly but the 2nd, GUI gives me error system 32\hal.dll !!!!! can you help please

  • @DooCrazy The common reason that it has been known regarding this issue is the computer is trying to boot on the Hard disk. You must go into your bios and make sure USB is your #1 boot device.

  • when i boot is says file mising.system 32.....

  • my netbook cant detect my hard drive..pls help...i have hp mini 110-1100

  • When i went to the steup it says "Txtsteup.sif is missing or courupt"

  • @RuckaAliReloaded sometimes remnants of an old install will interfere with a re-install. Zero-out your drive first using DBAN or DD command with a Linux Live CD, then try again. If it's still a fail, test your memory using MEMTEST86

  • @tiptricktv is it possible to have a duel boot (Windows Xp and my current OS Win.7)?

  • @RuckaAliReloaded Yes but you need to zero out the drive first (don't forget to backup your stuff first!), install WinXP first by installing it on one half of the drive, once everything is installed, boot from you WIN7 disc and install Win7 on the other half. Once both are installed you will need to select at the bootup screen which one you want to select.

  • hey i formated my acer netbook completly including the restore files and i tired installing windows xp it wont install keeps saying error please help thanks alot

  • @MrNiteryder Try going on the BIOS and select the Native IDE instead of SATA, it worked for pretty much everybody so far who had an error

  • hey i have an hp mini 110.can you tell me whare to find windows drivers?plz help!

  • @TheJost7 There's a website called driverpacks you can find there pretty much all the drivers that you will need

  • can we boot without usb drive when we're done?

  • @karkung555 Correct, once the installation is complete, like at 6:04 of my video, you safely remove your USB stick and go back to the BIOS to ensure you will not boot again from USB. However, if you want to use Backtrack or Ubuntu later on, just leave it like this in the BIOS

  • great thx

  • can you put the netbook drivers on a separate folder within the USB key that contains the installation files?

  • @Wiifan4life Not exactly on a seperate folder...but you can slipstream your Windows XP CD with your appropriate drivers. By the way I suggest you to go on this website for the majority of all the drivers driverpacks . net

  • You save my married life! THANK YOU!

  • where are you suppose to put the drivers for the netbook? .. on the usb flash drive also? . you didnt say where to put the drivers after you download them ..

    Greetings from Germany...

  • thank's bro.!

  • thank you bro

  • tiptricktv, I had the same problem. All you have to do is to change your sata in BIOS to IDE and NOT AHCI.

    Good Luck!

  • This is an awesome video, but I seem to have a problem around 3:54. I set the boot priority to the HDD flashdrive but during the screen on 3:54, there is only the C: partition. It didn't show the unpartition space or the D drive as an option. When I try to delete the partition, it sends me to a screen that says it cant delete because there are temporary setup files which are required for the installation. Any help would be great, thanks!

  • @someboy13 Looks to me that it's your USB key. What is the size?
