Let me put it this way, MJ is better. There are only a couple of other artists who can match the King of Pop and that is James Brown and Fred Astarie....I may have missed some others but those are the only ones that can come to mind right now. Chris Brown didn't "kill" anything here, he just proved my point on why MJ IS BETTER. So many of these little wannabee try over-exaggerate their moves when they are doing them. MJ doesn't need all those facial expressions and stuff. MJ is simply MJ =)
Chris and all these other wanabees like Justin Bieber when dancing add like facial expressions and so much un-necessary tweaks and movements to the dance steps to try and look cool while dancing. MJ didn't need to add all that, MJ was just flawless, he made his dancing look easy and effortless and hit the moves dead on, (when it really wasn't); while Chris and the other MJ-wanabees try to make their dancing look harder than it really is. MJ is the KING!

To all those saying Chris can copy MJ's moves but MJ can't copy his, think about this.....What signature move in Chris's career has he created from pure nothing? The difference between this performance and Trey's horrible "rendition" of "Purple Rain" was that Chris was dancing. Trey songs was standing still and sounded horrible and of course I didn't expect Trey to sound like Prince, but I expected him to be able to sing. Chris doesn't sound horrible here, he just doesn't sound like Michael Jackson. He actually CAN sing, unlike Trey.

Let me put it this way, MJ is better. There are only a couple of other artists who can match the King of Pop and that is James Brown and Fred Astarie....I may have missed some others but those are the only ones that can come to mind right now. Chris Brown didn't "kill" anything here, he just proved my point on why MJ IS BETTER. So many of these little wannabee try over-exaggerate their moves when they are doing them. MJ doesn't need all those facial expressions and stuff. MJ is simply MJ =)

MJ didn't need to add all that, MJ was just flawless, he made his dancing look easy and effortless and hit the moves dead on, (when it really wasn't); while Chris and the other MJ-wanabees try to make their dancing look harder than it really is. MJ is the KING!

To all those saying Chris can copy MJ's moves but MJ can't copy his, think about this.....What signature move in Chris's career has he created from pure nothing? Don't get me wrong, he's a great dancer with many versatile styles. But he's no innovator. Mike created many of his signature moves.Many styles that exist today is BECAUSE of MJ. I love this performance... For those who feel Chris is tryihg to be "like Mike" this clearly not the case. In each generation there's people called door openers, Michael opened doors for alot artist, especially young black artist like Chris Brown. The difference between this performance and Trey's horrible "rendition" of "Purple Rain" was that Chris was dancing. Trey songs was standing still and sounded horrible and of course I didn't expect Trey to sound like Prince, but I expected him to be able to sing. Chris doesn't sound horrible here, he just doesn't sound like Michael Jackson. He actually CAN sing, unlike Trey.
