@psychologistpannist .......to take a song like this and do this arrangement,is fantastic and dont think any other arranger would dare attempt this in a panorama competition
@psychologistpannist ... the monotonous bass is a defining characteristic of the original tune. bradley gives you at least 4 variations of A monotonous bass line throughout, maintaining the theme of the song but still giving you sweet variations. the minor and the transition into it is untouchable. that's the master at work! but i agree it's no rebecca
@depannist I disagree with the term "monotonous" to describe the bass line. That implies that you don't like it. Ostinato would be the right musical term to define a repetitive or continuous bass line if thats what you meant.

I used monotonous to describe the bass from the original tune (Shadow's) or what Bradley had to work with. Monotonous is still the word for me there. Now, what Bradley did with that bass line, go ahead and feel free to fill in your favorite positive musical term of Italian origin :-)
An artist goes to the beach and replicates what is already there... a genius goes to the beach and builds a castle of sand with an ocean as a moat... Bradley is clearly the latter...
that was one of the greats....but i wonder what happened to the guy that messed up in the song at
8 min and 55 second you can clearly hear that note was note supposed to be there and i heard that it cost them the competition that year...
