My son was stationed at Ft. Lewis, and it seemed to be a very wild place. He got into trouble a couple of times, but nothing like this. I think they liked to party a bit too much.
Xanax is NOT an antidepressant. It's a tranquilizer (benzodiazepine). Hence, it's a fast-acting depressant drug, like booze or barbituates. Why do so many people have it in their head that Xanax is an antidepressant?
The issue here is not only that the girl died. The soldier provided it for a minor, snuck her onto fort in his trunk, and failed to follow proper protocol for the Army. If you mess up or break laws in the service, there are serious punishments. It illegal to commit adultery in the army. You literally go to jail (if you get caught). See my point?
Teenagers die everyday of overdose. It was her who snorted the drugs. Her choice. Does that mean that liquor stores should be held accountable for drinking and driving accidents? The kid is 19 who was probably parting with his friends and girlfriend. It is not his fault she is dead. It is not like he is 40 years old. he is a young kid also. Where were her parents and her self restraint to say no. Maybey we should blame the school systems for not teaching drug awarness better. Not 19 year old kid
i agree with you.if i overdose because i slammed too much of a fentanyl gel patch, its my fault,not wherever i get it from.hell if our healthcare system wasnt such a sham,and pharm companies jacking up prices on meds,lower income individuals wouldnt have to sell part of their prescription to make ends meet.
i know plenty of single mothers and elderly women that have to sell part of their pain mgmt meds to put food on the table, deemed drug dealers by the gov.
