It depends on what kind of gamer are you.

This game is not hard. It's sadistic! Yet it's insanely addictive.

This game doesn't hold your hand. There is no way to know where there will be a trap, or an ambush, or an unexpectedly strong enemy, and the penalties for dieing are very harsh. As a result, every time you manage to reach the end of a stage and defeat the boss demon, you feel like the biggest bad ass!

It's a game that will kick your S&M but, and you'll love it!

I love how in this game even the smallest mistake can lead to many of you kicking the bucket. But, even though people say this game is impossible, its rather easy if you know what to do. When I finished the game for the first time I had around 50 deaths and around 20 of those were trying to kill the red eyes knight on the 1-1 stage. Like I said, if you use heavy armor and realize when to dodge, block or attack, this game really isnt so hard

@Heartless365 No... no no, never heavy armor, Ancient Kings or Binded... and yes, dodging is paramount ;) I almost never block unless it's pve ranged or magic with the dark silver shield. plus bringing the right spells/buffs/miracles helps a lot too...

Reaper killed me so many times until I figured out the basic solution.  Drop down, hack a few of the transparent guys, then use Soul Ray through one of the two guarding the Reaper, lined up so it hits him too. He'll come after you. Hide behind a pillar as he takes his sweet time, then cast Firestorm as he turns the corner to get you. Dead in one hit, I'm only SL 57.
