It looks like a spot is getting ready to open up for the 360. You know the system that takes full advantage of 1920x1080p tvs. Im thinking the best gaming system after my 320 ps3 is failing from playing fallouts on it. They must of cooked that system with their intense graphics. Or the updates did it one. I noticed never ending zoning, 0fps every 15 to 30 mins, and sound issues while platinuming fallouts. I think they destroyed this system cause sony dont know how to lose by saying no make.

Check out what i just figured out today.  Ps3 games show a picture of a tv when they have 1080p on the game box. On the 720p only games there is no screen on the ps3 game boxes. Its false advertising in my opinion but the developers are required to put that picture of a tv on game box, when they have 1080i/p on any games. I think sonys behind this trickery but i cant prove it money talks.

@Dkids187 I lied to psstore games are 1080p but they are remakes, arcade, or just toony and limited games. FF13 is 1080p the command a movie its pretty limited, where you can walk and what you do. Theres also God of war remakes from psp thats 1080p as well they are psp though. Is there a pattern to this? i think so. 360 does not change my signal from what i set the system on. 1080p every game stays 1080p, or its fooling my tv if its not. I got the elite though not the old one.

I dont see how ps3 could be in the lead of gaming. Mine runs like shit when im playing a graphic intense game. Even at 720p cause thats all the ps3 does games in. Every 15 mins if that it uses every bit of the ps3s resources and goes to 0fps. I got 5 ps3s and they all do it so im thinking ps3 lacks some gaming power. It sure dont lack movie power but thats just a bluray player or hard drive. A computer can do all that just with onboard graphics.

A director from the company DICE made a statement saying that battlefield 3 on PC set on the lowest settings is equivalent to the console version of battlefield 3. And not many games on consoles are in 1080p, even if they say they are.

It only looks worse on ps3. 360 did not even change my tv signal from 1080p upon entering skyrim and ps3 does.

You always want to run a game in it's native settings. Look at a game on 360 upscaled to 1080p. Then look at that same game on PC on true 1080p. The difference is like day and night.

The system may upscale on 360 but thats still better then we get on ps3. It lets the tv blow up a 720p signal and that really looks crappy on a 1080p. Also the tv signal changes from 1080p XMB screen, upon entering a game to 720p full. 720p Native does not fill my screen on my tv but i can change it to that.

I just found out today that xbox 360s games are all made in 1080p. My bad, i thought it had a upscaler scaling 720p to 1080p. Bethesda games are damn near impossible to play on ps3 even with 720p and nerfs. Xbox is the best it looks like.

Also the games are ported from a computer to both systems. Even ps3 exclusives are made on the computer and ported to the ps3 system. Ps3s need nerfed to preform at a acceptable level on ps3 cause its not a command a movie and limited to where you walk and stuff. 360 has a better gpu and thats why its better for gaming and the upscaler that converts 720p to 1080p 360 is a clear victory. The exclusives for ps3 are limited like ff13, you cant go everywhere. A command a movie ff13. I think the reason ff13 was 3 disks for 360 and slightly worse looking is cause square made it in 1080p and with 360 it does not need that. Ps3 on the other hand it did need to be 1080p.

@olgil Still wrong. Final Fantasy XIII was released on three discs on the Xbox 360 because the game was too large to fit in a single DVD (while it does fit in a single Blu-ray disc). That has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the game's performance or visual quality.

The reason the Xbox 360 version has lower visual quality settings is probably due to the game making use of Cell's SPEs alongside the GPU on the PS3, while on the Xbox 360 the GPU works alone.
