There're still strong demands in a freighter market nowdays,some1 will pick up this one and converted into freighter/cargo hauler...I've seen them flying everywhere :D
I Just said, the a300 is the most "boeing-like" airplane. It has strong engines, looks okay, and no sidestick like the other airbusses. Boeing sold soo many 737`s.
there are more 767`s than a330's. In america are quite few a320's compared to europe.
the a320 is not equal to the 737. there are way more 737's. and it seriously looks way better!
in an Airbus, the pilot has not as much control as a boeing pilot. because of these computers, airbus uses.
Im sorry i did not know you were an inmature brat, next time when talking to adults at least let us know you are above 7 years old. Btw you earn nothing by joking, not wealth neither fun, just enemies.
@justus0106 any reference? A300 is the oldest Airbus. I guess both A and B make superior aircraft. Boeing is best (hence the 3 year + delay of the 'under performing' B787. Besides the 737 (-800, the other models do not sell well), the 777 (-300, the other models do not sell well) and the 787 (though orders seem to stagnate), what model beats an Airbus easily? Airbus still sells A330 like cakes, the A380 (though not a strong seller) is out of its class and the A320 is equal to the B737.
@justus0106 A300 is AIRBUS, BOEING, LOCKHEED,TUPOLEV,ANTONOV ARE OTHER AIRCRAFT MAKERS. THATS WHY IT HAS A "A" INFRONT OF THE 300 IT MEANS, AIRBUS 300.
Funny the Airplanes get a wetdown when they retire, Fire trucks get a wetdown when a New Apparatus is put in service. That's cool though ,I wish i was on one of those Engines giving the AA A300 Farewell Salute.
i will always remember the last american airlines a300 i saw it was at JFK in in july of 2009 i was in a 737 and saw it turning onto the runway for takeoff
Water salutes can be inspiring. However, this one looks like they just wanted to get it over and done with. The fire trucks don't seem to be communicating. The trajectories, pressure, and start/stop timing of the two trucks' water cannons are off. The A300 seems like it reluctantly diverted to make the camera happy.
Actually flt 1908 that night was the last revenue flight (MIA-JFK). Funny thing is the next 2 days they still flew, substitutions and one was a charter. We got jipped out of the water salute on the JFK-MIA flight at the last second that day due to an inbound emergency.
sad to see them go, while mainly associated with MIA and caribbean routes, for some years in the 90s they also ran them JFK-LHR with a nice cabin layout
"The last revenue flight out of KMIA was flight 869 Miami to San Juan, tail number 067."

funny, the 767-300s entered service around the same time. And they're still being used... probably for 10 more years lol.
d0rkiishchris 1 year ago
@d0rkiishchris Yea but they're getting less and less cost efficient, and they fly shorter routes than the A300.

American Airlines using European Planes, what's happening with Americans they dont bealive in his industries, thats why USA is going down
catrachito321 1 year ago
@catrachito321 they used Airbus aircraft which is almost the equivalent to the b767. they are switching from euro to american boeing
MendotaTech 1 year ago
@catrachito321 Boeing is still by far the largest supplier to American airliners. Plenty of European airliners use Boeing as well.
