I hit the Mexican Market in San Antonio, to be expected, I live in San Antonio. ;) I grew up with the Mexican culture, both the good as well as the bad, learned to work cattle, learned to steal cattle. everyone now steals cars and runs dope, nice to see where this is not going on.
@CaliforniaTravelTips Right next to the wooden cross is the restaurant "La Luz del Dia" Best handmade corn tortillas and Champurrado(Chocolate cornmeal porridge) in all Los Angeles. Try it,and I think you'll be hooked on it. Especially in the winter.
ive been to olvera street twice that i can remember, i go with my friends on the metrolink, get off at union station, and get some tacos at mr. churros. i love going to olvera street and walking down to chinatown after.
Fun! It's great that both places are so convenient to Union Station. Those churros are awesome! Do you have any other favorite places to eat or go there?
Great video. I want some of those things in the green sauce. Yummy. One of the monster cinnamon sticks wouldn't be bad either. When I come out to visit with you and Jason, I'm going to put on 10 pounds, I can see it now!
Thanks! Those were Cielito Lindo's famous taquitos in avocado sauce. The churros at Mr. Churro are amazing too — freshly made with the option of a cream filling! You can't find that anywhere else in LA that I know of. Next time you're out, we'll go on a culinary tour of Olvera Street. It's about as authentic as you can get! Thanks again for your nice comments! :) Veronica
I plan on going there next week. Metro will take me there. I used the microphone option to write this, now this is truly hands free. Cool huh?

Why does most Mexican music copy the Polish polka?

@MrJoetrix According to Wikipedia, "the sound originated from Czech and German influence on Mexican-Americans in Texas and northern Mexico."
