  • After the current batch of the old rapture-hustlers like Harold Camping, Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, John Hagee, etc. have all died, will people finally grow up mentally and realize that Jesus won't come back with a sack full of presents for them?

  • There will be no rapture. The only way a human can be lifted into the sky is on a rocket, airplane, helicopter, or jet pack. These apocalyptic preachers are misguided, paranoid, delusional , and misinformed.

  • The Bible says that the rapture will not come until two things happen first....#1 A great falling away..#2 the man of sin is revealed ....2Th 2:3...These two events have not happened yet. Jesus himself said that he would return immediately after the tribulation of those days, and every eye would see him. This flys in the face of what Tim LeHaye preaches. The bible does not teach the doctrine of immenience, people do and they are in error sad to say. But they will still go to heaven.

  • @tjrank1 Amen to that ! plus the secret rapture doctrine wrongly teaches that the church can not go through the great tribulation and they teach this with out bible verse to back it up they just give mens ideas not what scripture teaches. Even Jesus,Paul and Daniel warned us about persecution on the elect or saints.

  • you are fools, he said "in our lifetime?" they belive just not in their lifetime, this is taing thing out of context at its best.

  • My respect for Tim LaHaye pretty much evaporated upon hearing him speak. He made the remark that China is controlled by Satan (2010/09/17). Pretty much every nation that was not Israel is controlled by the Prince of Darkness.

  • @kyliehammill49

The trouble is, if one doesn't believe, the question you ask is nothing more than an irrelevance for them.

And if Jesus did come back, I suspect near everyone would be left behind. Nothing would change; we wouldn't even notice. Mr LaHaye and co would definitely not be allowed on the Rapture Express, in my opinion.

  • The real question is....if Jesus came tonight, right now, would you be left behind? If you take your last breath tomorrow, are you saved by the cleansing precious blood of the lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ who said, "I am the way, the truth and the life and no man come to the father but by me." One way or another, we all are going to stand before the judgement seat of Christ. Do you believe? Are you saved?

  • the strong delusion AKA the heretics tim lehaye hal lindsey rapture version. it's from God to show us few remnants who the tares are. It's pabalum for the stupid and wilfully ignorrant. Ps 50:3, Ps 68:1-2, Isaiah 64:1-3, 2 Thess 1:8-9 2:8-9, 2 Peter 3:10, Eph 1:10, Matthew 24:27-31, Matthew 3:12, (fan) 13:37-42 show there is NO rapture as they say it will be like.

  • "Will Jesus return in your lifetimes?" To give any kind of an answer is just ridiculous, because they don't have a damn clue nor does anyone else....

  • Even though I enjoy the storyline, I do not agree with the theology. Will Christ return? Absolutely. Will he take his people leaving everyone else before returning? I find nothing in scripture to support this. There are only 3 certainties that I know of; 1-Jesus is coming back; 2-We don't know when; 3-We need to be ready. If you aren't ready the first time, your loss. There is no second chance. Period.

  • "Left Behind" is a spin of mythology. It's hard to believe that most take it as a serious write.

  • No. Its a fictional work based on assumptions based on logic from ancient scriptures. I do solomly believe that that stuff is going to happen, but not exactly as it was written in the book.

  • these guys are genious i loved the left behind series but if anyone has read the glorious appearing please telll me what it waas about i never read that and the last book

  • the best one!

  • yea it is i just read it it really changed the way i believe about jesus christ

  • I couldn't agree more with you. I read Tim LaHaye's book and yes, he's a true genius.

  • The foundation of what these guys believe, or say they believe, is that Jesus could return at any time. The question was, "will we see it in our life time?" Their answer was "no." So, they do not believe that Christ could return anytime, this is the premise that has made them millions.

  • This is amazing. If this video is real, I am astounded that they don't really believe it, because I certainly do. This would make them charlatans who just make money with their materials. I know Jerry B. jenkins personally--he is a Trustee with Moody Bible Institute and is an extremely talented writer. I couldn't believe that he does not believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ. Thanks to Glenn Beck for exposing them. It is shocking, to say the least.

  • @eleanorporter End times hahahaha what idiots. God isnt real

  • It is quite obvious that these guys do not believe that Jesus could come to gather His elect at any moment. I wonder if those who have read their books have a problem with this?

  • The question asked is about the End of Times. The rapture might happens many years before the 70 th week of Daniel which is the last 7 years. Thus, this video doesnt prove they dont believe in the immency of the return of Christ at all.

  • The rapture does not happen many years before the 70th week of Daniel. It happens immediately after the dead in Christ rise from the graves (1st Resurrection) which happens according to Revelation 20:4,5 during the reign of the Antichrist, in the second half of the 70th week.

  • @mmassicotte

The Secret Rapture, what the Left Behind series is based on, is a false doctrine and is not supported by scriputre. Jesus said that many people who call him Lord will be damned. Jesus also gave 7 parables explaining how "Christians" are going to hell. The state of Christianity is America is horrible.

  • @BoyintheMachine I would agree in that there are many people who attend churches and identify with the Christian faith, but have not come to a saving faith in Christ. They aren't Christians. Being in a garage doesn't make you a car just as sitting in a church doesn't make you a Christian. All born again Christians will be in heaven. Those who don't make it were never true believers.
