ummm ok, whatever the hell you guys are fighting over. This is the best version of this track, no matter how far back it dates to. O! Oh! Oh hell yeah.

Sorry, but you're both a couple of fucktards; even worse, however, you're a misguided pedant.
This song is an old Appalachian dirge that's been recorded as early as the 20s, and its roots go way, way back before that, possibly as early as the 1770s, which was not an era known for spelling or grammatickal (yes I did that on purpose) consistency. Furthermore, Appalachia is not a region known for spelling and grammatical consistency.
@banjogrrrl How am I misguided on this? Dude got all hot under the collar because the person who posted this vid entitled it "Oh death". And called him a fucktard.
I informed said moron that the silent "h" can be replaced with one of these: ' without the author being a fucktard. Pedantic? Sure. Misguided? Don't think so.
You must be having one of your sugar rushes again so I'll excuse you for not understanding what I was saying to the 85th worstnightmare.

The song title is "O Death". Not "Oh Death". Fucktard.
Myworstnightmare85 1 year ago
@Myworstnightmare85 Actually it's "O' Death" or "Oh Death" but not "O Death" as you claim it to be.
The apostrophe is often used to replace silent letters. Phonetically, O death would sound like Ooo death.
Fucktard.

Learn English. "Oh" is an exclamation. "O" is used when addressing someone. Read some fucking poetry, moron.
