Paris looked horrible. Just horrible. I think it got about what it should. I also didn't think Avatar was good. I found it condescending and offensive with all of his politics. I'm glad it is fading. There's really nothing out right now which I'd want to see.
I think Valentines Day should be formulaic but I want to see that one. I think I'll pass on Wolfman. I can't imagine it being good.
With 3 very wide releases next week (3000+ theaters) that are bound to open in the 20-40 million range, I very much doubt it. We got Valentines Day, we got Percy Jackson and we got Wolfman. Now one of them might disappoint (most likely Wolfman unfortunately) but it's still not enough to give Avatar even the smallest chance to get in first place again. We have to face the facts, it was a great run but now it's over, 7 weekends is more then anyone ever thought would be possible for this movie.
Everything is Possible. I agree chances are very slim, but who seriously thought that Dear John will gross $30+ million this weekend?! Also we should take into consideration Superbowl Sunday and this weekend we will have President's Day Monday Holiday. So I predict
Avatar will gross at least $25 million with chances upto $29 million. This might be enough to be #1 again. Lets better wait and see,
Channing tatum ruined my chances of even thinking of him being a good actor after watchin G.I Joe!

You do need to consider your OCD viewers who are distracted by the need to make your bed and put away your laundry.

And I love the new format! The posters work better beside of you rather than switching to a black screen.
