I love toni..but I think they incorporated Monica pretty well..they didn't try to make her a replacement for toni...more of a just a character that was always there, but gets a little more airtime...I really like monica..she's very pretty and has a lot of spice..not quite Toni spice, but I really can't imagine many women being able to fit the role..so...yeah..anyway...I like her..

Bring back Toni! They should work out their behind-the-scenes issues asap, because Girlfriends hasn't been the same since Toni left. Who am I kidding? The show started going down hill when they tried to pair Joan & William. I'm hanging on in hopes that Toni returns. From what I can tell from that commercial I saw her on, Jill has nothing but time.

There is room for Toni and Monica. Perhaps a 2-3 part program, where Toni returns temporarily with a major problem. With the help of Monica, the problem solved. Leading to the less painful, but inevitable exit of Toni.

I have grown to look forward to Monica's spicey wit and I was pleased to see her becoming a regular by way of marriage on Girlfriends. I am not sure when this interview was produced, but Monica has left Willaim on the show. Is this just part of the script or did something happen?

I'm thinking (guessing, rather) that this is a plot device; I don't see Monica leaving the show again so soon. I do wish the interviewer had asked her what behind-the-scenes circumstances really led to the departure of the Toni Childs character, which in turn opened the door to her becoming a regular. Anyway, Keesha OWNS that role and I'm glad they let her be a little human this season. Easy on the eyes too. Much success to her!
