    Soundgarden fzw

  • @ZehGfather why dont you try enjoying the song instead of bitching about things

  • @chrisorangeskate Then why don't you stop bitching in the first place please?

    Peace & Soundgarden Fzw

  • I want to punch that douche commentator from the beginning in the throat.

  • best song by the garden deal or no deal?

  • 90s rock

  • Really gotta start listening to these guys more. Theyre one of the big 90s grunge bands that I didnt get into yet. Idk why. Wish I grew up in the fucking 90s.

  • @LukewarmKoolaid

I commend your recognition of that fact.

    Rock on.

  • Who are the dumb Limeys?

  • chris looks like Jesus in this video

  • chris is jesus

  • Damn! You stole what I was going to say :P.

  • Soundgarden just kicks ass. thank God theyre gettin back together.

  • Brings back memorys of the old Road Rash game

  • the intro bit is fucking stupid and annoying but its worth it since this is a fuckin great song

  • 90's dude, what do you expect.

  • thank you Beavis & Butthead for somewhat introducing me to this band: "this guy looks like Jesus..."... "hey, it's that dude from the Spin Doctors... he jams with Soundgarden sometimes" - *snickers*

  • lol

  • What?

  • beginging sounds like pantera

  • Huge Pantera-fan and I love this damn song...but never noticed: Damn, you're right....sounds like Pantera

  • It's the dropped guitar tuning and the kick drum mastering, isn't it?

  • Not enough a musician to tell what it is....

  • they in D for this one? idk

  • most tabs say so. Sounds so low, maybe even open-C (CGCGGE or CGCGGC low to high)

  • i love how this song sounds so monstrous in the verses and the chorus's.

then it has that little peaceful sounding part where he says "so now you know, who gets crucified"... just the way the music sounds.

its almost as if the song has a mind of its own. in between the frustrations of life there is serenity... or maybe im over thinking it.

  • Anyone else remember this on the 3DO version of Road Rash? i grew up to that shit.

  • hell yea man..it was awesome

  • @TheForestDog No i don't remember, but don't you mean the other band called Full On The Mouth with songs like "Another" and "People Mover" ? Cuz i dont remember soundgarden being in the game.

  • on the 3DO version?

no way dude. Rusty cage was the friggin' theme & intro song, and outshined was at the menu screen.

  • these guys fuckin rock

  • Aww... the good ole days with obnoxious VH1 hosts, and bitchin' tunes! What more can you possibly want!

    LOL

  • @SawyerTheMaster

NO VH1 Host and it would of been perfect

  • What makes this song so beautiful is Chris is doing more than just singing what he wrote down on cue; he's feeling it. You can hear how he loves the song when he goes "oh yeah..." in between verses. It's kinda jazzy.

    OUTSHINED!!

    OUTSHINED!!

    OUTSHINED!!

  • fuck yea soundgarden aic tool pearl jam stp temple of the dog is were its at hell yea!

  • 1:43

    Chris Cornell `s dance

  • I wish I can go back to the 90s

  • I love soundgarden - But I didnt like Jesus Christ pose... The drumming is good but apart from that it is a mess. This is my favourite song by soundgarden.

  • awesome song

  • Brad pitt getting stoned to this tune in True Romance is funny as!!

  • funny as???????

  • @funkylovinsoul Thats right! He was siting on the couch smoking out of a Honey Bear squeeze bottle!!

  • @funkylovinsoul Great movie

  • @funkylovinsoul "Don't condescend to me...man. I'll fuckin' kill ya."

  • . . . i knew that . . . =P haha

  • hmm . . . describing a song intro as homosexual . . . interesting . . . retard.

  • badmotorfinger is such a classic. i feel like its more listenable nowadays than superunknown simply because the radio overplayed the shit out of the superunknown singles during my formative years.... wasnt old enough for the radio to kill the finger singles yet.

  • Awesome song but those shorts lol.

  • ROAD RASH

  • Great song to jam on the bass

  • 90's grunge to be more specific

  • 90's music will never be outshined

  • So now you now..

  • these drums are miked so well.

  • This song is perfect to listen while your going off road in a truck :)

  • man, gotta love this song. so great. so heavy. so real. call 1-800- sound garden to listen to more. great advertisement right?

  • lol

  • This was one of the funniest SG songs...

He seems so angry yet happy?

  • And one of the best.

  • i think this song

inspired SILVERCHAIR written of the song "Israel´s son" since the guys from silverchair already have mencioned having SOUNDGARDEN as one of their musical influences

  • i couldn't agree more with you,the riffs are unbelievably similar

  • fucken awesome stuff...love em.

  • 1 of my 50 fav songs

  • this version does suck.. wayyyy tooo much cut out. jesus...

  • Chris Cornell best singer (not relly but awsome voice)

  • This version sucks. They cut out wayyy too much of the song.

  • show me the power child id like to say

that im down on my knees today

gives the butterflies gives me away

till im up on my feet again

  • ok while we are on the subject of correcting people its "sic" not "sick" mr. corrector.

  • i agree about the people in the beginning needing to get punched in the face

  • I love the bridge in this song

  • the people at the beginning need to get punched in the face

  • great song

  • this has one ofe the coolest guitar rifts in it i love soundgarden (,,)

  • this is a really really sick guitar part, but its "riff", not "rift"

  • the people at the begging sound like dumbasses

  • i like the beginning of rusty cage

  • Chris Cornell may well be the finest singer in the world....

  • no this is their best song. this gives so much energy when you feel good or bad, always!

  • wrong! Jesus Christ Pose is

  • best soundgarden song ever is The Day I Tried To Live!

  • lol @ 3:50 That is simply the best part of the video (when CC basically throws sand in his face). Awesome.

  • this is like THE manliest video ive ever seen

  • word

  • this song hits the spot.

  • Rusty Cage rocks too.

  • i like the ending of rusty cage

  • i have to agree with baxterfat

  • This one the heaviest riffs you and I have ever heard

  • wow, I just discovered the awesome-ness of Soundgarden!

Any suggestions on which songs I should listen to?

  • spoonman or black hole sun

  • Burden in My Hand, Supernatural. If you like Chris Cornell i would also suggest looking into Temple of the Dog and Audioslave.

  • Oh and another soundgarden song is Blow up the Outside World

  • Slaves and Bulldozers!!!

  • Fell On Black Days. Jesus Christ Pose. Nothing To Say.

    So many songs....

  • oh wow you are in for many years of continuing to discover just how great this band is. When I first got into Soundgarden I only liked their songs like this, but now truly appreciate almost every song of theirs. Songs to get you hooked right away might be Burden in My Hand, Slaves and Bulldozers (fucking amazing), Hands All Over, Loud Love, Pretty Noose, Spoonman, My Wave, and Blow Up The Outside World.I love Tighter and Tighter, Mailman, Boot Camp, Overfloater, Holy Water and Beyond the Wheel.

  • Oh my god... They have so many songs, and I can't think of a single song that isn't fucking amazing!

  • yea, pretty much every soundgarden song is amazing. I'd add Just Like Suicide to that list of suggested songs to listen to...Limo Wreck for some reason has been a big hit with me lately too, both from Superunknown.

  • i love this song

  • omfg what a gay intro, doesn't match this song at all :/

    badmotorfinger rocks!!!

  • This song was, is , and will always be the shit.

  • does it fits to soundgarden?

  • Such an awesome chorus.

  • What...fuck Creed. Cornell was around long before SCOTT STAPP IN THE BAR! Tremonti is the only thing good about Creed the rest should drive off a cliff.

  • This is a beautiful song, well crafted. I love especially from about 3:20.

  • I could show you several lyric sheets where the printed lyrics are obviously different than what the vocalist of the band sings. Everyone owns an album like that, and they know it.

  • matt cameron is an awesome drummer, really underrated

  • no way man soundgarden were a much more original and influential band, audioslave were great but these guys blew way more doors.

  • i love this song

  • Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, mostly the latter, are closer to metal than much of what is said to be metal nowadays.

I'm a proud metalhead and say that... :)

By the way, A.I.C and Soundgarden have not much to do with Nirvana, Mudhoney or Pearljam.

Sometimes I ask myself what' was the use of this grunge thing if not giving money to the now almost defunct labels...

  • Matt Cameron is the drummer for Pearl Jam...remember Temple of the Dog?

  • Chris Cornell's voice has became stronger than it was in audioslave I like where hes going

  • have... have you LISTENED to his new album?

    wtf?

  • tehawes0mesauce: Gotta agree with you there. I did try listening to some of the new songs... painful, very painful.

  • to tell the truth - his new songs are actually pretty catchy on Scream. but they're just not him... its like an abomination.

  • indeed

  • The studio version of Scream is shit indeed, but the version where he just plays acoustic and sings it it's actually pretty good.

  • he's not talking about the album, he's talking about Chris' voice, which has healed up since he left Audioslave and is much closer to its original capabilities than it was when he was in Audioslave. Listen to his live performance in Argentina and u'll see/hear it, especially in songs like Hunger Strike where he hits them high notes very strong and clean

  • i don't really check out his live performances... sorry, but its kinda like my way of protesting his stuff. I was considering going to a concert of his until he released scream... and then I got the feeling of "why should I pay for you putting out bad cd's? thats like saying 'good job'!" so glad to hear his voice is back, but i'm still not going to support everything he's doing.

  • He plays minimal songs off his new album. I just saw him Indianapolis and he rocked out. Fucking rocked out, rusty cage, outshined...all his good shit. Don't be so closed minded. He has been, still is, and always will be an amazing musician.

  • Really! Am I the only one that Timbaland is having his own private laugh at rock & roll by producing Cornell to look like a fool the way he did?

  • wait a minute hes not in audioslave anymore?

  • @Justmango112

lol Audioslave broke up lifetimes ago...

well, 2 years ago, but it seems like a lifetime =[

  • anyone remember "beyond the wheel" f%ckn great tune??soundgarden rock still..wish chris would write songs like this again:(

  • Where is the real chris cornell?!?

  • ...yeah,bring me back this good old rock /metal music!!

who want`s to listen to these glamour gay-rock band's of today like nickelback and bullshit like that

  • this is grunge

  • it makes no difference ,grunge is rock music too

  • Comment removed

  • nickelback isnt that bad if u listin to the unknown songs of there old albums. but yeah i know what u mean they need to bring this stuff back

  • Killer rhythm guitar riff...

  • i live in minnesota!!! we must be good if chris likes us!

  • Someone needs to post this whole song.

  • They skipped the part about the grass being greener where the dogs are shiting

  • the best part

  • it's actually shedding. i used to think the same

  • I AGREE~!

  • the words are actually "where the dogs are shedding", not "shitting"

  • No, it's shitting. The grass is greener where they shit because feces acts as a fertilizer, so the grass grows stronger. It's a really clever line (so is the california/minnesota line), and shedding just makes no sense.

  • According to the insert in the album (Badmotorfinger), it's shedding.

  • This is Chris Cornell at his best ! So hot so raw and he has never been as rock since Badmotorfinger.

  • i dunno man, superunknown was pretty hard & heavy

  • Could Chris Cornell be any hotter? I think NOT!

  • He is the hottest ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fuck yea louder
