Playing and singing multiples times a day. Or even multiple days in a row will take a toll on your performance. Cut the singers some slack. I think they did a great job.
epic song, epic solo...not a great bunch of singers here though. Jennifer really did make this song great, not that it was bad to begin with, but she made it great. these girls just can't cut it in my opinion.
Wow...I think I was within spitting distance of you during this performance. My wife and I were in seats five and six (or maybe three and four?) on the second row...just to the left of these singing ladies. We missed the 2010 tour, but can't wait to see TSO again. It's always a killer show!
@stu11926 Missed 2010? You missed a good one! Be sure to check out my 2010 videos. I'm slowly getting all of them uploaded, including the 2010 version of this song. All four girls are newbies this year.
The song is timeless, but without Jennifer it's just not as great as it could be. These girls don't have a strong enough voice to carry this song. It's too bad. The version with Jennifer will live forever!
I seen this concert live Beginning of the year 2010 in January , While it sounded reallly great and harmonious , The first 2 singers while doing solo were a little weak on the voice part, but was a great performance
Disappointing. TSO had to divvy up the job to three different singers that Jennifer Cella used to handle alone. It's just not the same. Neither the performance nor the selling of the song measured up to Jen Cella's spectacular rendition of it.
The amazingly talented ladies from L-to-R: Danielle Landherr, Valentina Porter, Jodi Katz, Alexa Goddard. Lead guitar Alex Skolnick (harmony guitar outro with Chris Caffery).
