  • When will the hybrid naval be available? I am patiently awaiting for its arrival to your store. I would pay anything for one...

  • I have a Kaval and have just hit my first 3 notes.I'm so happy!!:)

  • Very very nice song, I cant stop listening to it. I'm not familiar with the kaval, is that another instrument joining you at 2:20? Btw, I love watching the pinky on your left hand dance around.

  • Nice

  • Any idea when this will be in stock again?

  • You're doing that wrong!

  • Etherial.

  • Wow...very inspiring and enlightening...thanks for sharing your talent...blessings ALisa

  • so enchanting! i'll be among the first to purchase your hybrid kaval when it is ready!

  • man i can't stop watching this video !

    i'm dying to buy this kaval !!!

    can someone tell me where could i buy one , and how much would it cost !?

  • @azotmazot

  • @nadishana

    thanx for reply

    basically i'm looking for blul ( the armenian version ), which sounds very close to your hybrid kaval.

    i'm not interested in turkish version, it does not sound the same sweet ( it's a matter of taste i guess )

  • @azotmazot in Turkey its not so expensive

  • very beautiful !!!

    here is another Armenian version :

    ?v=VuDSas2-ZxU

  • superrrrrr

    u know? this instrument called BLUR in Kurdish and it is a KURDİSH FOLK instrument.

  • Thanks a lot for the ideas! :-) :-) :-)

  • wtf what is this blowing teh.... from the side?

  • wow love it now the mouth piece pleaseexplain how its cut or made thanks

  • I just stumbled across your videos and I really enjoy. Extremely much.

  • when is this going to be ready to buy? i think i have watched this video a thousand times and i would love to have one.

  • I am puzzled about the "khakassian khobyrakh" style of playing this instrument - as far as I know, khobyrakh is a whistle, not a diagonal flute like ney or kaval. Anyway the sound produced this way is colorful and rich, can you recommend any learning materials about this playing technique? Does it require special instrument features of the "hybrid" kaval or would be playable on any PVC ney?

  • I made it! I managed the shakuhachi technique too... I made a sample video of my "hybrid kaval" played with the 4 techniques. ^___^

  • I really want to see what you could do playing one of my flutes.

  • turkish (over the right side of the lips)

    this one calls Çığırtma in turkish :)

  • very good

  • I'm kinda in love with your music, and that you're using ancient instruments that can be made by hand.

  • those ones are the best because they are the roots the heart and the soul of all music

  • you are the the Man!!!! your instruments are incredible and you play them incredible also. I play saxophone and I am trying to make a bansuri but you convince me to kaval! is also used in my country for ages but is a different type of kaval, we call it caval and is not open at both sides but I like more the bulgarian/macedonian version of kaval, has a unique sound.

  • amazing !!!

  • Nice playing... kaval is magical instrument....

  • If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could I know what style he's playing in at the very end?

  • khakass khobrakh style

  • Thank you very much, my good sir. I figured I wouldn't do the 'big fan' thing, but I really do look forward to all your videos. Unfortunately, money's too tight to buy anything from your store. I DID manage to make my own fujara, though very simple compared to your Futujara. Now I want to make a kaval. :D

  • 2Ackbano

    great you got inspired and did you own instrument, that's one of my goals why i post the videos

  • I made this one... I use to play it with persian ney technique too... h t t p :// ww w.pha ntomranch. n et/ folkdanc/articles/kaval-slama. h tm

    Now I'll try to add the shakuhachi thing! ^_^

  • Hey!!! Just a moment! I tried my kaval... And understood I can use the shakuhachi technique without the labium (the small shakuhachi/quena window). This opens me a new world, THANK YOU Nadishana! ^_^

  • It's totally KHAKASS isn't it?

  • wow, very very interesting..! he plays it in many ways.. sometimes like a turkish ney or a persian nay, but sometimes more like a flute or a shakuhachi. what a talent!! such a fantastic musician!

  • hello, In what key is the kaval you are playing on, please?

    Tank you

  • The lowest note is B

  • Thank you!

  • Wonderful as always, Nadishana.

    Any news about its release date?

  • bravo ke te bide poveke vezbaj

  • Also, how does one perform the khobrakh style!? That sounds incredible.

  • Nadishana, you amaze me. And i'm still VERY interested in purchasing one of these from you! You must write to me when they are available!

    ~~~~~Mat
  • thanks Mat! I'll let you know when we will finish it, sure
  • wooow .. !
  • Hi Nadishana.
    Sounds Great! is like Siberian Flamenco.
    Greetings, for you & Julia
  • Fantastic. What playing style is featured here?
  • Hi Kees, i'm honored by your comment and want to thank you for your videos and tutorials! I learned from them a lot, it's seems the only instructional videos of persian ney in internet. Please keep on doing them!! Your art and dedication is great.
    From 0:26 till 1:18 i'm quickly changing 4 of the styles, and from 1:41 till the end it is the style of khakassian khobrakh flute (khakass is the siberian minority, i'm from this region)
  • Wonderful
