Well, now I know why I didn't watch that movie.

There is already so much wrong in the way that Ayane uses the katana. She is using it more like an axe or like a chinese sword and not with fluid cutting motions like a katana should be used.

It shows that they probably had a chinese choreographer for the fights, which is all fine and well for chinese styles, but not for japanese ones.

A live action version of this movie has great potential, because of its story, but they did ruin it badly with this film.

Seriously, it is easy to choose a full-blooded Japanese to play as Ayane, and even Kasumi. I like Devon Aoki, but there are plenty of Japanese with a more accurate shape as the game version of Kasumi than Devon Aoki.

If it was me making this scene, plenty of special effects would be involved, like Kasumi teleporting.
