What a muppet there is more natural radiation in 1 bannana than your annual dose from the atmosphere i imagine. Dont you just hate happy clapping radiation fear mongers. Google radiation hormesis for abit of comfort after watching this bloke.
It is very unlikely that tritium presents any more of a risk than Carbon-14, radon,X-ray machines, etc. etc.
Also he dose not state how much tritium is produced. He only states it's overall radioactivity.
Finally I would like to point out that a Wiki search for tritium will reveal that only a very small percentage of the heavy water used in nuclear reactors converts to tritium. Also the tritium is normally extracted because of its high value.
Fear monger trying to make a big deal out of nothing, look at carbon 14 it is much more prevalent gets incorporated in us just like tritium and we are just fine.
tritium and ditrium (heavy water) are more resistant to electrolysis. witch means, if you send a current through water, you get non radio active water atoms (now HHO gas) being given off.
Nuclear plants need to do this to their contaminated water and store the remaining radio active water with the exhausted fuel rods.
a 13 year half life isnt that much in comparison to the fuel rods themselves.
im no nuclear scientist, but i believe this will lower "pollution" of nuclear plants.

well its to bad tritium is a gas and dueterium( heavy water) can be filtered out of water.............

what is this guy a doctor of? I would love to see a tritium removing plant. And how dose DNA have an affinity for tritium?
