@richpetty43 The insurgence of bad pop music and the millions of young girls who buy the music and go to their concerts. Of course, it used to be the Beatles those young girls would flock to, so I suppose you can't really blame them for the bad choices they had to choose from in the late 90s starting with Britney Spears and the boy bands created for corporate profit. I think commercial pop killed rock.

I'm grateful to Live. Back in 95, I was going through a rough time in my life. But when I listened to the whole albulm of Throwing Copper with Lightning crashes, Pillar of Davidson, Shit towne and the whole album, I felt alive again. In 95, when All over you was playing in bars and on radios, that song gave me strenght and courage. Bless them all. One of the best bands of all time. Thank you Ed, Patrick, Chad Taylor and Chad Gracey, we owe you ! Peace!

I can empathise SO much; this might seem a bit dramatic but listening to Throwing Copper (almost on repeat) got me through some very dark days in Detroit in early 96, my life was in turmoil, I'd made some spectacularly bad decisions and was suffering emotionally, the passion delivered on this album fed my soul when I really needed it. I love everything Live have done and I eagerly await their next visit to UK.

me too Dar...funny but it was my son's birthday party I had the TC CD on...and kept going into the "music" room to hear it..and kept thinking how much this band kicked ass?..so in '97 Keith my son and my wife saw them twice (Scranton and Lehigh)...then my wife died in '99...but me and the kids still went to see LiVe...several times since then (once an unbelievable concert with the Crows..)...Bless them all...check out my site and you'll actually hear my daughter and I sing "All Over You"...
