Hey, did anyone else get a weird popup of Meat Ninja after beating level 7-4?

After reaching meatboy to finish the level he just popped up in the middle of screen and there was some text underneath his face. I forgot what it actually said though...

@WeirdJamFaceAlt Yeah I got something like that, only I was at Chapter 6 A+ ranking the stages when he randomly popped up, and I didn't even get 100% yet, though I was close. I can't remember what the text said either, though. Maybe it was to build up his existence or something?

it's almost impossible for me to teleport through a saw in my 1st try. It's really hard when using a joystick,because i have to press the run button really gentle and fast.

Came back to this game after beating Donkey Kong Country Returns and am working towards this guy. Its amazing seeing how much more skill I have than my first playthrough after playing through most of the dark world. I needed to A+ all the levels in The End, and I did them in between 2-3 runs each instead of the couple hundred the first time through

OP says you need to 100% the game so since the max you can get is 106% its possible to get it before A+ing everything.

The extra 6% is an homage to videogame-kind. each glitch level is worth 1%

I think the only one to get all the achievements like squirrel-, dead-, brimstone- etc. boy is meat ninja. Even the Kid can't do all of these things

His teleportation ability is very very unreliable. I probably died more than 3000 times making both my Meat Ninja Videos.

It does sound unreliable, but it seems to me that it's more a matter of timing and patience. Someone with a lot of experience with Meat Ninja could possibly run through the ENTIRE game (all light/dark levels) with plenty of practice.

It's been done with Meat Boy, so why not Meat Ninja? Even without his teleportation, it's still possible.

You can't get achievements with Steve. He isn't even allowed to beat or A+ levels, and if there were bandages to collect, him getting them probably wouldn't count.

He's such a broken character that they had to patch out his ability to complete the game and get on the leaderboards.

I somehow managed to get Meat Ninja without doing the Dark world Cotton Alley. I just did all levels A+ (aswell as three Dark W6 Levels) and it just hit 100% somehow. Must be some kind of fault, and it must have something to do with the fact that i have 103 Bandages.

Anyways, This character is awesome - and im glad i have him unlocked without paying the cost of my Sanity.

Thanks for the info. For me, he unlocked with I A+ed everything except for 7-20x. So, it does seem like you can glitch the game somehow to get as higher percentage then unlock him without having to A+ much.

His ability is very hard to use, far better than most characters (excluding Steve, and probably equal with the Kid.)

I can't believe how good you are with him. I tried so hard to do it twice in a row like you did at 2:25, and concluded that it wasn't possible and the teleport took about a second to recharge.

Yeah, I probably spent about an hour attempting to double tele then tele in the air on the 2nd ceiling blade.  I probably was only able to double tele roughly 5-10 times and could not tele past that ceiling blade for the life of me. :(

Yep, the timing on it is tricky.  I probably died between 25-100 times on each of those levels in the video.

It's coming along. I have all the clips saved, but trying to render a 15 minute video full of 15 seconds clips takes a long time and most of the time crashes Vegas Pro. I guess I'll just start creating separate chapter clips instead of trying for the full 15 minutes.

Hehe thanks for the compliments! :) Yeah, if you really want to get better, do not use any other characters other than Meat Boy when playing the main game. It takes a bit to get use to controlling him and how long to hold jump for, gauging how far he can actually jump, and the angle of his jumps. Afterwards, you just stop thinking about how to approach the easy jumps and do them naturally.
