I first came across this story when I was about 10 years old. I saw it as a theater at first with all my classmates. Everybody else thought it was stupid, dull and childish. I loved it and cared so much about the story and has brought it with me in my heart for my whole life. When I read the book later on I cried so hard, it's a beautiful story for people of all ages and the little prince is a character that will live closely to my heart for my whole life.

This book was given to me by my Momma, who found it in a thrift shop. I've always loved the story but the thing that made my copy so special was the letters two friends had written eachother in the front and back of the book, and had gone through and underline passages that meant something to them. It seemed to really hold the spirit of the book in true understanding and made it even more magical than it already is.

I think hard work, responsibility and perseverance are important when we become adults, but I think innocence and the sense wonder should never be lost. Long live The Little Prince!
my mom read it to me countless times when I was a kid in french. One of my aunts took me and my sister to see the musical made from it but can barely remember it i was 3 or 4 when it came out have been looking fr this ever since.
now that I am a men one of my friends found the story from the 70's heard it and it was just as I remember it but now in English. Narrated by Richard Burton the best ever.
I first read this book in French Lit as a senior at university. St. Exupery's other books were are also very good,but little did I know that this book would change my life. It gave me a voice; one that no one had ever bothered to hear. Thank you for the upload. I am watching with my heart...
i like the part where all the grownups are laughing at his "hat" picture in the beginning. they all look 7 feet taller then him and there laughs are all so distorted and booming. Really isn't that how it is when you are 6?
in the book version, the little prince died at will because he wants to go back home. so the snake bit him and he was gone. the movie version however, have just the same ending except the little prince is just the dream of the pilot
