  • padłam z zachwytu :D

  • Thats realy good !

  • He's got scary voice! 0__0

  • too high for this shit man..

  • When did they form/disband?

  • @FlyingBugels 1991-2000

  • all time favorite

  • Was this a popular band In Japan for a long time?

    Sweet, Sweet Daaaaaays~~~~

  • Sweet days

  • @Yip221 - I personally use tubemusicdownloader com and have never payed for my music.

  • The bassist and drummer look like incredible hard asses, but the lead singer has a kind of pretty boy look... He's probably the most dangerous one.

  • @ElectricHawk Yeah he never did look as tough as the other 2 but his lyrics and the way he sings them... awesome. This is not one of their best songs though.

  • @quillskillz Yeah I agree, although I do like the song. I prefer Saturday Night over all their other songs.

  • they are so cool !!!

i wanna watch the band again (3u0)

this great song will not fade !!!

  • :) great!

  • The guitar work is really cool, and his tone is rather unique, but it's not my thing. A good pop song though.

  • so what!! Im Japanese but I don't hate Korean just because of his/her nationality. But, anyway, BJC was my friend's band, so pls no more unnecessary comments!

  • I really want to ask, how do you know Nakamura? I went to see him perform at RSR recently. To be honest, I was there to see Yano perform. But he was good too!

  • I went to the same school with Nakamura. We have been out of touch for many years. But, we start communicating each other again lately. He was already very talented when he was in high school. He was a very smart guy, too.

  • I love Nakamura, he's a wild guy. One of my favorite things about watching BJC live was Nakamura's mannerisms.

  • Allrec, so why does Hiroshi1Sakamoto speak Japanese, and defend Japanese culture? I think you are just an internet troll.

  • I am so proud of my frind was in this band. He is very talented and smart guy! He also played a great role in the movie, Nada Sou Sou.

  • I can see why other users just ask certain people to "go away" from this video. If you don't know about Japanese music and artists, then don't talk as if you do. And 童画 did not refer to anime. It is a painting or drawing of a child. Hence the kanji 童 (child) 画 (stroke) and first used to represent the artwork of Takeo Takei back in the 20's. It is still imagery, which is completely different to animation.

  • I'm going to see him live in October at the special Liquidroom event, along with the roosters, chiba yusuke, and many other artists. Going to be a great night, and hope he plays some BJC.

  • Jpop was first used back in the 60's when Japanese artists became prolific, and internationally known. Especially in the 70's, with artists such as Stomu Yamashita, Flower Travellin Band, Sachiko Kanenobu, Tatsuro Yamashita, Far East Family Band, 外道, and so on. It means exactly what others have said, it refers to any Japanese recording artist, which includes all types of music. As for the term anime, the "real" word is not "douga", and it is known as anime, and not animation for language reasons

  • No it doesn't, not in Japan, and not in the world music industry. The wikipedia? Don't make me laugh, go edit it if you don't like what is written.

  • What, since when did I say that I didn't like what was written? And I've never heard of a recent J-Rock band that calls themselves pop, ever.

  • There is no such thing as "Jrock" band! And from English wikipedia, Blankey jet city, a rockabilly band from Japan, notable in Japanese pops. Referenced from HMV. I see you write many stupid thing in this video comment one month ago too. Stop writing comments! dirty arab!

  • Hahah, you think I'm actually from Afghanistan? You're hilarious. It's pretty obvious you don't even know what "pop music" is, why don't you look that up before you continue spewing nonsense? While, you're at it, look up abbreviation and acronym. Japanese Rock, that would be rock from Japan right? Now what does "Japanese" start with? J. Thus, contracted into J-Rock. Wiki also says they're Punk, you'll NEVER catch a punk band calling themselves pop. No real punk band anyway.

  • You just make yourself look like an idiot, again. Learn what Jpop means before making stupid comments. iTunes, Blankey Jet City, listed as Jpop. Record shop, television, magazines, Blankey Jet City, listed as Jpop. Music industry, Jpop. As other user said to you are a loser. Go away!

  • Jpop is not a genre of music. What is your IQ? I ask you to leave (just like many others users did) because you write nonsense. You are a loser. BJC is not for losers, it is for destructive rock and rollers! You are 気取り屋!I don't know English word.

  • Fuck off you little shit!

  • Hiroshi1sakamoto, don't reply to him. He is just a loser that needs attention.

  • Yes, I was writing a something. But you are correct.

  • and I recommend his single "Shampoo" by Jude. You can buy that on iTunes too. I like it best.

  • I recommend his album "Natural" by Sherbets. You can buy it on iTunes. He is a good person!

  • his voice style remembers me to Bob Dylan.///???

  • I think it is because they both have a nasal tone. He mentioned on a NHK television show, that he grew up listening to artists such as Murahachibu, and many folk artists such as Bob Dylan, and Sachiko Kanenobu.

  • Most people use the term JRock. I'm not sure how it's posing... But okay. Opinions are opinions.

I like Japanese Rock. I like Japanese music. Its simply amazing.

Has anybody seen Crows:Zero yet? Its so badass!

  • From my experience, only internet nerds say "Jrock" and mostly they do not know anything about Japanese rock music.

  • Wait, what's the difference between saying "J rock" and "Japanese rock"? Only arrogant jackasses care about a difference in nomenclature of music. It's about the sound, not what you call it.

  • My English is poor (sorry if my words are strange) there is no such thing as "J-rock" it is just a rock and roll. As someone said, there is no "B-rock" for British rock, or "F-rock" for French rock, and etcetera. In a foreign music shop, this band would be in a rock, alternative, or world section. I work in a distribution company for many Japanese labels. My department ship Japanese CD to Australia. The biggest client is a music shop named "JB Hifi"

  • It's not like calling it J-rock turns it into a different genre, it just denotes the region that it comes from. Besides, if you listen to stuff enough, you'd know that the region that music is created has great influence on the sound of the music. Also, you guys must not be very versed in this subject, seeing as how the term "Brit rock" is used all the time.

  • No mate. I think people are calling these people posers because of their ignorance about the meaning of Jpop. In the last year, I have been to around 8 concerts in Melbourne by touring Japanese artists. As others said, you will never hear it. Most people won't even know what you are talking about. Someone mentioned Bob Dylan before, he likes the Magokoro Brothers. Never seen him say it. Famous Japanese artists like Kitaro, sell millions of albums in the US alone. Don't hear shit like "J-new age"

  • I don't know why you're bringing up famousness, that has nothing to do with it. Using the term "Rock from Japan" can be turned into "Japanese Rock", follow me there? Now that can simply be shortened to "J Rock". It's a difference in semantics of what you choose to call it, not something that determines how much you care about it. Does somebody who's been following The Blue Hearts since their indie days lose credibility for calling them "J Punk"? If you do there's something wrong with you.

  • You are a fucking nerd! Go back to your "Jedi Academy" video game. I'm leave for Japan tomorrow, gonna see The Birthday, Cro-Magnons, Flower Travellin' Band, and more. Only shame is that the main event by Imawano was canceled due to illness, and now we have Primal Scream headlining. Among the 100 thousand people at the event. I bet I won't meet any fuckers calling it "Jrock" and Jpunk? oh my god, fuck off mate. It is actually Jpop! Thats why we call you posers! You are ignorant wannabes!

  • As outmura said "Go away we don't want your comment here"

  • I agree with many other comments. From my experience, only small amount of foreign internet nerd say "Jrock" and you do not hear it elsewhere. This is rock and roll. It is not different to rock and roll in foreign country.

  • Wrong. Jrock = japanese rock.

    Why this?

Because foreign fans of "jrock" are a real group of people of people that like especificaly this kind of rock. And they are a big group of people.

You don't say "Brock" (Britisth) or "Frock" (Fench) because there is not such big group of foreign that like especificaly music from these countries separately. They like Western in general. So, that why you don't say "Frock" or "Brock". It's just not necessary.

  • Look at your favorites mate, anime and computer games! You are a fucking nerd! Which is what others have been saying, only you nerds say that. And you nerds are a tiny minority of foreigners that listen to Japanese pops!

  • I also find it ridiculous that you're calling it pop. That's a pretty big insult to rock, and way to invoke habeas corpus when you know that you're wrong. Jpop is girls covered in pink singing in high pitched voices. I bet you don't even know what pop music is, fool.

  • That is exactly why people are calling you posers! You don't know what Jpop means! That was a laugh and half mate!

  • Oh, so now it's okay to call it JPop? IT'S NOT JPOP, IT'S JUST POP (as would be a reaction from you). You know what "pop" means? Popular music. However the current definition has changed to overproduced crap that is born from studios and committees. You still have yet to define what a poser is either. If you think that somebody's a poser because they call it something different, you're just an elitist bastard who doesn't know the meaning of punk.

  • That is why people call you posers, you think Jpop means Japanese artists which are the equivalent of Britney Spears. That is your ignorance, which makes you a wannabe (a poser) HMV ranked Blankey Jet City at #73 in their top 100 Jpop artists. You will find their CD's in the Jpop section at music shops. On TV they are on the JPOP programmes. In the Jpop magazines. Go to Japan! Wait... why is ellegarden, mongol800, the birthday listed as some of todays best selling jpop artists at HMV and Towers?

  • Because how well a band sells determines how good it is, real good logic there. I bet you only listen to everything popular and don't even know about the indie scene. Ever heard of Thee Out Mods? Last Alliance? Bugy Craxone? I bet not, because all you care about is popular opinon. It's useless arguing with sheep like you.

I couldn't care less what a magazine calls the music that I listen to. I call it what I want, because useless labels don't matter, just the music. You're the real poser here.

  • That is a good laugh! Did you miss the point? Are you a bit stupid? Where was the mention of how good a band is by their sales? what you wrote makes no sense. It was explained why nerds like you who say Jrock are posers, and it is damn clear you have never been to Japan. Well I'm off to Fuji Rock tomorrow, so thanks for the laugh!

  • You start spouting things about things being in magazines making all the difference, and you turn around and say it has nothing to do with your point? Having gone to Japan or not has nothing to do with being a fan. You have some distorted view of music, because to me it's always been about reaching out to other people with a personal expression. I guess people like you just can't realize that, clouded in arrogance.

  • You didn't pick up the point. It was mentioned, that if you had been to Japan, you would understand. Because it is known as Jpop everywhere. That doesn't refer to a genre or type of artist. That is why magazines, music shops, television, and so on was mentioned. There are many Japanese artists touring the world, from all types of genres, if you actually went to any, or involved yourself in the actual Japanese music scene, you would have a different opinion.

  • I already told you that I don't give a damn what other people tell me. Japanese people call apartments "mansions", should I do that too when referring to a Japanese apartment outside of Japan? Of course not, I'll call it whatever I damn well please. No matter what you decide to call it, the sound is the same, and attaching a name like Jpop or J-Rock just makes conversation easier. In the Western world, J-pop tends to denote studio crap, so it's necessary to clarify.

  • What you said is a lie mate, apartments are called apaato (Japanese for apartment) In addition it has no relevance to what is being said. In the western world, Jpop means the exact same thing as it does in Japan. Sure, call it whatever you want. You asked a question, you got the answer!!

  • rokkets81, are you go to Fuji Rock? I am going to it with friends! If you want, we can guide you!! My name is Ukyo. I write the comment on this movie before. My English is so-so. I want to see the "My Bloody Valentine" and "Sherbets" it is Asai new band! We have the camp site for 3 days. Please enjoy with us! I am Fuji Rocker!

  • Sure, send me a message! I'm going with my friend in Tokyo. and we will be camping too!

  • Seriously, man, what's is your problem? Calling me "focking something"... Do you have some sexual problems with people who abbreviate "japanese rock" in "jrock"?

Why you have soo much hate in your heart? LOL.

  • I'm a Japanese. Please go away. I don't like your comment. You are not a BJC person

  • if you love a band, how do you pose as liking the band?

  • A person that "loves" a band, but does not know anything about the band, have an intimate experience, or purchase their records is a poser. A poser is a person that acts in an affected manner.

  • Very Nice... Funny voice jajaj but it's cool

  • Go Yankee!!!

  • hmmm good stuff, but it's a little too mellow for me... like too light. X Japan remains my fav J-Rock band for now. But i still don't like most of their ballads.

  • wtf are you doing comparing them with this band? lmao

  • lol it's cuz they are the only japanese bands i know about... i gotta make a reference somewhere!

  • Why mark it down just cause it was a bad comparassion? They apologized.. fucking idiots i swear :( YOU ARE WHAT'S WRONG WITH JROCK FANS! YES YOU! Lay off the new kids dickheads =]

  • No one but posers use terms like "Jrock" to refer to Japanese rock music. Do you get "Brock" for British rock music?

  • I use the term simply because most people on youtube ARE poseurs and DO use the term. It's a bit less confusing for people. I've been a fan of MANY Japanese rock bands for a good ELEVEN years and not just this poppy vk bullshit most kids are into. Why take the time to bitch about it? Grow the fuck up you're as bad as the idiot who marked the poor kid down.

  • go away. we don't want your comment here.

  • Way to spread ignorance. God.. stand up for somebody who's being pushed around for NO reason other than they're new to a genre and you get marked down. Gotta love idiocy. Get a life hun <3

  • that's actually an intelligent remark. I don't get why you got a -4 for this (well, now it's only -3 cause I voted thumbs up :D)

  • I completely agree with you fishblues! Luckily you never have to meet these piss ant nerds at gigs, or concerts!

  • and I agree with you felakuti4life!

  • Rock miracle! I was at there Fuji Rock Festival concert in 98. Good memories!

  • this is the kinda' song that makes one want to whip out their electric and tear up some trad rock riffs...
