can u recommend some motors including the name and where to buy. I want to make one slower so i need u to tell me the motors which is in good quality and has a lower hp and rpm.
I used golf cart motors for my karts. I guess the next step down would be scooter motors. Look for a couple of neglected scooters, or ones with worn out batteries, I guess.
Actually, she was smiling. She's driven the kart, and her 4 year old daughter has ridden on it. Of course, I drive a lot slower when I have a passenger.
The motor shown here runs about $650-700 full retail. This one is worth what I paid for it, IMHO. The original PM motor cost $900, and it was definitely NOT worth it, since it burned up after less than 8 hours use.
The karts aren't really for sale, because nobody will pay what they cost. The only plans are in my other videos. (I'm too lazy to make paper or electronic plans.)

I specially like the face (not actually well seen, but you can imagine) of the neighbor in the house on the back (minute 1:28 around).
