She is so very beautiful. I think she is as HOT now as she was then! Love her music and some of it brings me to tears! Too bad her agents didn't handle her as they should of or she would of been a much bigger Star!!

Just learned who Freda Payne was tonight when I was watching American Idol. I was probably a toddler when this interview was taped. She was so charming and beautiful back then and she has aged VERY gracefully!!!

Yes,I understood that the American Idol contestants had competition stand-offs covering Freda Payne songs like"Band Of Gold"Sorry I missed those! I would just love to see someone out there who could make music like Freda.And yes,so true that she ages very gracefully:I met her for an autograph after a show in 2006 and she is mesmerizing even in her 60's.She didn't even strike me as"old".She is fabulous!
