I always opened my boxes the other way around, keeping the bottom intact. I get my knife in the edge of the bottom and carefully separate the plastic from the card.
LOL! Oh dear. I destroy boxes trying to get my figures out ^^; Unicron's box look like Godzilla fought it and Starscream's ended up torn in half because I couldn't get those tabs on the back to come loose. X_x;; Great tips there! (I generally don't save boxes anyway. No place to really put them...but still helpful info!)
That's awesome. I should have figured that other collectors would have some tools ready - although I'm not sure if your common refrain is "Ejas (daughters), where'd I put the big, fat toenail clippers?" *chuckles*
My bookshelves are well organized though, and when my wife had to move my boxes around downstairs today, she made sure not to harm anything! Without being asked. It's not as though I threaten her (quite the opposite), she just knows I care about them.
i saw your tips on buying TF's for your kids and i have to say, those two wher just sugar. they are super cooperative and they like the transformers i like such as bulkhead and fast action battlers. keep on the good work!
