So, it's better to apply the liquid and powder foundations with a brush? Usually I use a sponge, and for some reason it gets flakey (the make-up) after I put on the powder foundation with a sponge, and I have to brush it off with my hands.

im not a make up artist or anything like that but i use to do that mistake all the time and i looked like a covered cake

Use a brush to apply it or if u use the sponge... wet it first , dry it out but not completly and apply the LIQUID foundation first and then the powder! use a brush to apply the powder never do a sponge

i think its important to put concealer all around your eyes like on your eyelids and in the corners because it makes you look more awake. its a pet peeve of mine when people dont put concealer on their eyelids.

it doesnt do justice just putting it under your eyes.

try it all around ur eye. youll see the difference immediately.

actually if you put moisturizer on your face it should help control the oil production. try an oil control lotion.

i find using brushes creates lines and pulls off the foundation, i usually dab with a sponge then smudge with clean fingers. i've got way darker circles than you!! x

make sure you dispose of the sponge once you've used it though because if you keep reusing it you'll contaminate your makeup which = breakouts.

It's a Chanel #6 brush. Not really, it works just as well.

it goes much better applying make-up with a fluffy brush than a foundation brush...at least it works for me quite well to use my poweder brush instead of my foundation brush...it creates less lines....but you have to use mor foundation with a fluffy brush, because a lot of it simply "disappears" in the brush :/

I usually use studio fix also. The MF foundation that I used in the video is oil free so that's a +. I prefer MAC.

does it stay looking oil free after say...3 hours? because I don't reapply my foundation during the day. I'll put it on in the morning and it comes off at night. The liquid kinds I've tried looks too oily after like 2-3 hours. I only brush up the tzone every couple hours but that's about it.

Try to match it to your neck. When you apply it, apply it close to the jawline. Take the two closest colors and apply one on each side of your face and try to see which one matches your neck the best. If the brand your using doesn't have a foundation that matches your skin tone maybe you could try a different brand. I hope that helps.
