It isn't easy being white in the NBA....especially if your good. A lot of people are going to dislike you simply because of that. Have you seen the HBO Magic and Bird documentary (A Courtship of Rivals)? A lot of people...and when I say people...I mean black people...hated Bird when he was playing. Even today when you hear Shaq or Kobe get asked about Larry they will say "I used to hate Larry". Ask them why and they say "I don't know". It's pretty obvious. I guess hating white players isn't new.
