I got to see this in Cleveland and got backstage passes, and it was amazing. When all the animals gather, they march through the crowd, and to my delight I had an aisle seat! The wildebeest scene was spectacular, and the whole play fit perfectly to the story. I was happy that they often included the audience in the play, like Simba running from the back of the theater to the stage. It was truly amazing, and everyone should see it if they have the chance!

That is actually a great idea...

As I understand the publishing rights for the show are very strict, it would give an opportunity to see it even, when you can't see it in your own country.

Maybe should send that question to where the Disney people can see it better :=)

I try to comfort myself, that at-least I got (and will get) to see the Lion King on big screen, in cinema and in 3D.

But that comfort does not work. (although it was super great to see the Lion King in cinema, to hear the music from cinema speakers. So thank you, big hollywood guys, for that)

I so very much want to see that on stage. But for some weird reason they have brought all sorts of other Disney musicals to my country but not the Lion King.. And I don't get it.

I saw this in Vegas. I'm fifteen and I watched it has a younger kid... I was in TEARS when they sang the circle of life and all the animal kingdom came to gather around the rock. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I would see it again, but I think everyone should at least see it once.

Im 17 and was more excitied then the little kids also watching it.

Circle of Life sent Shivers down my spine and tears to my eyes, becusae the actress playing rafique is incrediably talanted in both singing and acting.

Very very privillaged to have seen this.

I advise any one young or old to see this.

Such beautiful storytelling here, even in this small video. When I saw The Lion King in Vegas, the very start of Circle of Life brought tears to my eyes. William James (understudy for Simba, I think it was) wrote this: "It's my hope that you leave this show with more room in your heart for humanity and for our earth. For, we are all connected in the Circle of Life." For anyone who reads this, I encourage you to watch the show sometime before you die; it's awesome!

Saw this today in the Lyceum Theatre in London. Absolutely overwhelming! Such an amazing show, the acting and voice work was astounding. Every time Rafiqi sang we were totally captivated. I can't recommend this show highly enough!

I saw this show a couple a weeks ago in New York and I have to tell you it was Amazing and mesmerizing....we were on the front row and you could see every expression on their faces. The costumes and how they moved were unbelievable. We saw the Rockettes too, but they were pale in comparison to The Lion King. I was stunned by it all.

THe best performance I have ever seen and I have spent endless days in NYC seeing broadway, but Disney's magic is so powerfull in all their productions. The african performers are so talented, so full of spirit and passion for the Lion King. From the very moment the woman steps out and her voice catches you off guard with it's power, you are drawn in for non stop power.
