Good job brotato. I wouldn't even mention that you think it was sloppy, only a few spots but it's a fairly difficult song by Blink 182. The verse is tricky. And drum mics would probbaly help a lot with the sound quality.

Thats how the song actually goes...If you don't know... heres how:

hold the stick so that the back end of the stick so that it's laying on the snare head

pinch the stick in the middle with your fingertips instead of wrapping your hand all the way around (like you normally would)

and hang about 1/3 of the front of the stick over the rim and off the edge of the drum

then each time you play the click, lift up only the front half of the stick and make sure the back end stays on the drum at all times

not having having a double bass pedal is no exscuse cause travis doesnt use one, youre using studio headphones so idk why youd be blasting the music through a guitar amp instead to hear it, also why are you making up exscuses, this cover is quite good. the only things i have to criticize is using the zil-bell instead of the ride bell(makes it much more of an awkward stretch) and in the verse he uses a china not a splash(which is much more minor and i could care less just thought id point it out)

Well, at :50, you use your right arm to keep the beat on the low tom, just like a high hat, and move your left from 2 different toms, and then splash, and open high hat, then shut, then hit another splash, im guessing 6" splash.

man travis does NOT use double bass. and in this song it doesnt even sound like there is double kick at all. any decent drummer knows this and doesnt need double bass for any blink song

No Travis Barker does NOT use double bas in any song. He does something similar in the beginning of 'Feelin This'. Its just a bass roll. See "Good Time Bad Times" by Led Zeppelin to hear it more clearly. Dont be retarded.
