  • WHICH AGENCY CREATED THIS AD? Sry for the caps but I need to know =)

  • I'll admit, that was pretty fucking awesome. But if I wanted a sandwich, I would go make one, at home.

  • Doesn't matter, had Guinness.

  • what the fuck does this have to do with beer?

  • @sheyredov you would know if you knew about guiness.

  • @TheRainbowGoats Alcohol commercials (especially whiskey for instance) never have anything to do with the product, it has to do with some subliminal stuff...

  • @Themis711 Yeah i guess, but "Bring it to life" represents the reaction when you open a bottle of guinness or pour it, due to it distintive head.

  • Whats the song??

  • Blasphemy!

  • The 42 dislikes is Heineken's fans.

  • this ad reminds me of hitchhiker Gide to the galaxy

  • woww

  • The irish version was soo much better.

  • At first, I thought it was about establishing Guiness World Records, then I concluded that it was a ''pollute as much as possible'' record attempt. Finally, I saw the cup. Guiness beer... of course it was a beer ad! What else? Silly me.

@Mefgar Clapton never did this song, It was Mason Williams. Common misconception though :3

  • What year is this ffrom?

  • @MrPoupard 2010 i guess!

  • And so it was not God that created the heavens and the lands we've conquered, it was Man. Man created the earth we've desired and the fields to run in. Created the gardens and founded the sea-life. Man raised the forests and called the creatures of the wild to sing for us. Created the canyons and the rivers to flow. And Man did this....with the heart of a conquerer and the taste of Guinness fresh on their tongues :)

  • All this for aan advert??? Damn, this should be a movie.

  • @J03Y0123 hell yeah!!

  • Song Title: CATHARTIC WALTZ Composer: NICHOLAS FOSTER, PETER RAEBURN

  • I just finished Golden Sun. Somehow this reminds me of it lol. Must be the feeling that a bunch of things happen all at once after you have solved a puzzle :D.

  • are they from magrathea?

  • @skezness It's an important but little known fact that the Irish are in fact decended from Magratheans who decided not to go into hiding while the galactic stock market crashed and so eventually settled on one of the planets they had recently finished constructing.

  • wonderfull!!

  • beautiful

  • filmed in Canada (Y)

  • Was that stone Cold Steve Austin? 0:24

  • Awesome ad, they'll never top the one with the surfers and the horses coming out of the wave but this is f**king close...

  • Awesome commercial.

  • OK maybe its just me but I CANNOT hear how the music in this ad is Classical Gas!?

I have been searching for what the song is and everyone says its Classical Gas but it sounds nothing like it and have no idea where they are getting it from unless there is another version of the Guinness World ad or what?

  • @tommypk86 The music is called Cathartic Waltz by Peter Raeburn, I hope that clears things up a little. :)

  • @jcgerrard117 Dude your a champion thanks. I knew it wasn't classical gas. haha

  • @jcgerrard117 ur a king. my ipod is complete

hmm... wonder wat the guys who cooked up this one were drinking (read smoking).

  • 35 people didn't bring it to life

  • its either so good i dun get it, much like the oscars or its just plain shit XD

  • Love it!

  • That was beautiful...

  • Just one question....what?

  • unreal

  • Good someone direct me to this same advert with the song in it? I think it's like got guitar or something? Also, there's a new one just out and I can't find the song for it anywhere! Please help :(

  • Money is good when properly used, religion is good when properly used. Alcohol is good when properly used, however it is an extremely dangerous and addictive drug. It temporarily disinhibits normal people causing vandalism, violence and death . The results of chronic addiction are too well known to all. It's effects are the same as cocaine, hash, ecstasy and the rest. The difference - it is legal. The problems associated with alcohol should not be understated. We should not glamorize alcohol.

  • @owhyte1 Lighten up, have a pint, and unwind....the stupid ones get left out of the gene pool anyway. Don't be too quick to hop in.

  • Can anyone help me to find the music? Thanks beforehand.

  • Man you guys are worse then bad christians, stop trying to push your beliefs about alcohol on to people no one came to see this advertisment to hear som bitchy winey fag complain about the things that could go wrong with it. Alcoholics are just people that cant control themselfs thus when they die from driving or somthing related they help everyone else out through natural selection and darwinism. People that can handle it live those who cant don't. Take your complaining some place else you pus.

  • @TrainerBooyah , your assessment of me as "som bitchy winey fag" is a little unfair as you don't know me and I might even be a nice guy. I also think we should the stick to the topic being debated to get a better understanding of the issues involved rather than to try to degrade the participants. If we continue to bury our heads in the sand the horrors continue to expand. Have a nice day!

  • @owhyte1 I think you have proven my assement perfectly by yet again commenting bitchy winey fag comments. Just stop dude. You are not any better then anybody else in the world so no trying to give insight and enlightenment. Your just another bitchy winey fag that try's to help people because you have self esteem issues or a messiah complex just shut the fuck up everyone knows what alcohol is and what it does. Do you think this info is new to us. Dumb Bitch. Take your faggot ass sum place else.

  • @TrainerBooyah If my contribution influences some people in a positive way then it's worthwhile. Perhaps you should direct some of your eloquence towards the drink industry and we might have a better world than the one I have described. I would suggest that you might suggest banning alcohol advertising altogether. Again have a nice day.

  • more likely to sit on the couch nd watch tv...good ad though

  • @mrsunny811 , agree it's a great ad and really succeeds in glamorizing alcohol.

  • When you drink Guinness, you can do this.

  • @drackegan or rather you'll wanna do it ;)

  • Have a Guinness when you're tired!

  • They won't go into the streets at night to show you the violence, the vandalism and the vomiting. They won't go into homes to show domestic violence and broken families. They won't go into the workplace to show loss of productivity or loss of jobs. And they don't go into police stations to witness the large volumes of alcohol related work. We need to open our eyes!

  • @owhyte1 your posting about alcohol on a game about racing? you do realise most people will just completely disregard your comment. Why can't videos' just have discussions about the actual TOPIC!

  • @owhyte1 Oh, I'm well aware of all these, I've seen a couple of members of my family slip from society because the only road they know is the one between their house and pub, it's sad but also it's incredibly telling of a greater problem, with the world the way it is I can understand why people escape into alcohol, it makes people feel empowered, like they can do anything (THIS IS NOT TO SAY I CONDONE IT), unfortunately until the world is a more appealing place this will probably continue.

  • @owhyte1 I'm gonna use several because youtube has a stupid character limit.

Basically I have had the experiences that make me understand why people choose alcohol, I'm currently unemployed, I'm a graduate and I don't feel like my life is going anywhere, for many that is reason enough to start drinking, I've yet to succumb to the temptation.

And I'm aware of the slcikness of the alcohol ads. believe me they're some of my favourites, but fortunately there is now a move to educate people.

  • @owhyte1

    For Christ's sake...

To put it simply, do you blame the company that makes an awesome sports car for the danger it may represent to others? The power is in it, it's up to the individual how they yield it.

It's all down to the type of individual.

I do agree, these types of Ad's are incredibly slick. I wouldn't touch a drop of Guinness, no interest in it but I will say that because of their advertisement, their involvement in sports, I would view them as an institution.

  • Generalscorpio, maybe they didn't fore see that possible interpretation. As someone who works in that field I can guarantee you of the havoc drink causes. Have no doubt about it the drinks industry produce the slickest ads off all, they look great, make you feel good and give the impression you are missing something if you don't get involved.

  • It's a great advert...........just enjoy it and stop looking for thinks that aren't there!

  • I love this ad. it's so epic and fantastic and it makes the good point of how a real beer is dispensed into the glass and then drunk, and Guinness does rule, screw budweiser this is the king of beers.

  • Still does not demonstrate the destructive powers of alcohol on our societies!

  • @owhyte1 Do really think a commercial is gonna show something that would potentially stop someone buying it's product, it's marketing not a public awareness video.

Also on the majority of alcohol ads, (at least in UK) they put the words "Please drink responsibly" in small letters, it's the same as putting the health warnings on cigarette packets and tobacco pouches.

OH and you wanna discuss destructive effects on society, look at religion and money, they're at least equal in blame if not worse.

  • @owhyte1 ignore that lmao!

  • Um... Wtf does this have to do with beer?

  • reminds me of the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy

  • No bible,no science, guiness is how the world was made:)

  • Comment removed

  • Bring it to life. Minecraft.

  • @Zergimoto I realy do want to see a minecraft parody of this!!!!

    Anybody with me???

  • epic?

  • Does anyone know what the name of the song featured in this advert is? Or was it composed just for the advert?

  • I still think this is a trailer for Guiness: The Movie.

  • I WANT IT IN HD

  • I wanna know the name of the tune in this ad. Lovin' it.

  • I feel thirsty...I want a beer...

  • Simply brilliant!

  • This advert makes me feel so good

  • wow

  • What a gem of advertising genius . When I see creative minds working like this my faith is reinstalled that there is still room for ' Progress ' in this industry . Mountains to climb , work to be done , not a moment to loose . It's everything in advertising we love as being ' TRUE ' creatives . What a production . In a word -... PERFECT !

  • @britcrit09 haha, ditto!

  • The song's called "Cathartic Waltz".

  • best advert ever!

  • Ego

  • GUINNESS launches its most ambitious ad yet my ar*****se. Take a look at Johnathan Glazer's showreel. And whilst I am at it take a look at Frank Budgen and Chris Palmer's work. These directors are the only reason why we still have a commercial industry.

  • Name of the song?

  • @DynamicScherzo my guess it was composed especially for the advert, though I could be wrong - it definitely makes the advert though.

  • why don't humans do this already?

  • @samyting u do no there is som1 thats black in it if u luk carefully on the video

  • @superloo007

samyting used proper spelling and punctuation. Hence your argument is invalid. Take some time to type English correctly. No-one's timing you.

  • @samyting god ur such a spaz its only an advert calm down

  • any body the name of this song

  • Cheers!

  • I would definitely want a pint of guinness after buiding the world.

  • woah they madde earth

  • This version is way better than the Irish one! Besides, Guinness is owned by a BRITISH company now :) So, we win!

  • @thegclique Yes but since guinness is well known all over the world as an IRISH drink it does not really matter if the brits own it people will still name it the IRISH drink. Also the only reason they own it is because of stocks it can easily be taken back.

  • @Xboxdude343 Just knowing that we (BRITISH) own a drink that is meant to be Irish, like Balieys and Guinness makes me feel happy :)

Also... Northern Ireland is ours :)

  • @thegclique And me seeing that britian is in an economic freefall an being the 15th richest instead of the 3rd and losing its "Special Relationship" With america makes me feel brilliant :D

Also it won't be for much longer

  • @thegclique dont be a cunt

  • @MegaChambre God Save the Queen :)

  • @thegclique really is there any need for that, its an irish drink, the queen has nothing to do with it

  • This version is way better than the Irish one! Besides, Guinness is owned by a BRITISH company now :) So, we win!

  • good though

  • @pynepyne If I were you...I would have said that this advert still remains the best.

  • Dare I ask how much this fella cost to make? Best ad I've seen in a long time...

  • this advert is sooooooooooooooooooo stupid!

  • @Ummnusaybah1 are you high :)))))

  • @guinnessproduction If there is make sure to tell me lol cause I haven't found any that cheap. Most expensive place in Ireland.

  • What's the music????

  • @TeaPotTubz The music is called Cathartic Waltz by Peter Raeburn. Its from an album called You & Me.

  • @blueman1939 Thanks.

  • Cant believe how lacklustre this version is in comparison with the Irish one - the song in this does nothing for the ad at all - the Irish one makes you want to really want to do something!!!

  • Awesome!

  • the one with classical gas is better

  • I think this is the best strategy of Guinness.

  • yeah the irish song is way better!

what's the name of the song in it?

  • What happened to classical jazz?

  • The music on this one is so much better than the irish music that's on it now.

  • great add great music but not as good as the area code 615 version

  • BRILLIANT!!!

  • the music is gay ...wheres the irish song !!

  • never mind the fucking music, dude, the guys are hot !
