When everything was nice, EqD and PA were cooperating but when things got bad: "We have nothing to do with PA anymore" mail to me from EqD.

I really appreaciated the work put into Ponyarchive, but the fact remains that they were distributing 1080p torrents for free while it was also being sold on iTunes. It wouldn't have been beneficial for Hasbro to let it stay up. They are a corporation, after all. I stopped supporting PA after their message. Not a good way to respond.
We all take from Hasbro creating this fandom. EqD is braking law just like PonyArchive did. I never said that PA's response was good and I strongly disagree with what they did but I understand them. G4 MLP would share the fate of previous generations and would be nothing more than previous generations if not for sites like PonyArchive.
I've learned that PA was being threatened some time before the final forceful takedown. They got almost no support from the fandom though their
@MrMakavcio PonyArchive acted horribly after being shut down which was going to happen seeing as it was illegal downloading. Even if you liked the site it was in fact illegal. Hasbro was cool about the site for quite some time and then they say fuck you? That's not the image we want to give. Take from the company and then tell them to go screw themselves
Wait, I'm being serious when I ask this, but are there really 3.1 people visiting the page every second? You know, a person visiting EqD every 0.323 seconds? While I do realize how known it is, I honestly wouldn't think that the pageviews would constantly count up without slowing down from lack of people (even just for like a minute).
So again, is there really people visiting that often on it? I just want to know. :O

I've seen some other impressive stats in the past which also indicate that, yeah, EqD really is that popular. It's kinda hard to believe, but... I guess it's true. Neat, huh? :D
