Hi! Congratulations, you are doing a very great work with motion menus! I'm trying to learn DVD editing. I saw a few tutorials on your site and something is not clear for me, let me ask you here.:) Is it possible technically to do that the background music plays continuously while you make a transition from one menu to the other like in this video? I didn't found any solution for that in Encore. If it is a business secret, just tell me please if is it possible or not.:) Thank you!

@GodMister motion menu backgrounds and transitions are rendered in After Effects. Adobe Encore is used to actually author it to disc.

We do not use videocopilot products to create our templates. All material is original and created by our motion graphic designers.

@GodMister i agree looks VERY similar, however, who knows, anybody with the skills to make such an awesome menu could probably re-design the ornate flowers...

@Jakemz51 It functions as an actual menu. What you are seeing here are just the menu transitions playing through. The main menu has a duration of 50 seconds, and the two submenus are 30 seconds each.

@Precomposed oh no no i'm not looking for their service i was just being curious and that question just flashed into my mind while searching for menus. hmm do you think they possibly charge more than usd5K per title? yeah you're right, even design and production studios in my country are charging their clients more than the standard price. i guess people taking advantage on each other is just a usual practice in business :(

Hi my friend!

First of all congratulations for you work, it's really nice.

I had to do a DVD menu for my projects and yours got me really inspired. I tried to do a Motion menu in AE it it worked really nice (long time to render though!!)

I just had some problems programing it in a DVD software..I used Apple DVD SP and I have some problems like pauses between transitions and another Audio problems like music for background.

I would like to know which program do you use for DVD Authoring?

@sirClogg You could turn the special features menu into an Audio Setup menu, and create buttons for the different audio tracks. Have the button links go to the same menu you are on, and to the same button you are on, but change the audio track. This is very easy in Adobe Encore.
