A few years back I put out a candle with liquid bubble soap. It took a few seconds, but you can guess what happened. Worst part is, I had no idea that would happen at all. I was just being lazy.
Heh, not too difficult, regular kids' bubble soap, typical lab gas (methane (CH4) usually), a piece of surgical tubing, funnel, and something to ignite the bubbles. Attach the tube to the gas nozzle, insert the funnel into the other end of the tube, dip the funnel into the bubble soap, open the gas slightly so a bubble forms, shake off the bubble and close the gas, and finally ignite the bubble as it floats away.
Haha, we did this on our last day of school before exams (in November).
