whilst i do feel there is a need for films like that, i fail to see why people reject religion as a whole purely because of isolated incidences of disgusting perversity in church institutions.
How can anyone still be a catholic after having seen this film?? Christ means love and care for your fellow human beings, but the Catholic Church represents hatred and abuse.
@vesselstone39 I have come to a conclusion of 2 things God doesn't exist and it's all just a joke and used to guilt and scare people into doing your will or God exist and we shouldn't be taking pop shots at what we think he wants with religion since so far we're just killing and hating each other despite the kindness doctrine the hate and fear made by others are superseding the teachings.I'm leading towards the first.
@PwnerGeist I am devout catholic and i agree with you to some extent, the catholic church has a shameful history but please do not let the greed and hatred of some not dishearten you from religion or the idea of a god, many of us are truthfully searching for god and are outraged by a minority disgracing our faith
@JTituana It's not just that the bible is surprisingly dark and sick despite the nice things that are advertised .If you find out about the other religions that have existed SHIT WAS CRAZY!It makes me think we don't know what God wants and that's ok just stop mentally breaking&controlling people and starting wars over ideas and theories.So much sorrow caused by what someone thinks.
@PwnerGeist I once again agree with you, i find it tbh quite blasphemous to put sooo much faith in a book that was written by men and not God. It is true that the Church and other religions have done evil things, but that does not necessarily mean that religion itself is evil, only that people have used religion for evil purposes. It actually angers me that they abuse our faith and put everyone off the idea of a divine power

Horrible. Even prisoners: murderers, rapists, thieves, child molesters, drug dealers etc. get visits from family and friends where they're allowed to speak to them, and education and books at least in certain countries. And even certain prisoners get to walk free once their sentence is up.
@JanesCalamity i agree with you, but not all preists are like that. A priest went to this camp with my class one time (i go to private school) and man did it creep the hell out of me! i was like uuh did he have to come and then i felt bad because he is our preist and all lol but i agree with you. They cant get married or have sex but thats no reason for them to make the women do that you know? some priests are REALLY creepy though...

Una did the only thing she could do while imprisoned there to escape being the oppressed. Her only way out was to join the ranks of the oppressors.
